As a newbie plant owner I received really helpful tips from the friendly staff on how to keep my basil plant alive. I really appreciated the genuine advice (which was basically that based on my current set up I didn't need to buy anything from them at the moment to get it through the winter) which made me appreciate they were focused on helping me and not trying to sell me stuff! Shop has lovely autumn atmosphere and I will be back!
I thought I knew all the city garden centres but somehow N1 had escaped me, even though I’m often in their sister centre, W6. N1 has a very decent range of indoor and outdoor plants, as well as friendly and helpful staff. Another plant-powered haven in London to add to the list!
I really love N1 and have always enjoyed visiting, but lately the prices feel quite high - often double compared to other places. It used to be my favourite neighbourhood garden store, and I’d love to see it return to being the great, accessible spot it once was.
A good collection of indoor and outdoor plants as well as plant accessories. I did feel some things were on the expensive side compared to stuff I’ve bought online but it did not stop me from stocking up. Anyway, this place is just around the corner from where I live. So I’m definitely going back and I’m highly recommending this place to my friends.
Large selection of plants, pots and equipment. Found exactly what I needed with help from the extremely accommodating and friendly staff. Update on my purchase, plant thriving in my fishtank, it feeds of the waste and uses it to grow no need for soil.
