The underground playground is amazing. Exclamation there were so many family and kids having a great time on a rainy gloomy day. You can bring food and they have hot plates. They have a sauna and water part. There is something for every kid in this massive playground underground.
Terrific - This is the "new" section of the NSW Art Gallery, located right next to the original. It has been open for a couple of years now and is amazing. It is very 'child friendly' but also offers wonderful art for everyone to see. The building is quite futuristic looking with large open spaces and colours. It is very popular with both tourists and locals. It has large sculpture exhibits at the entrance; lots of seating areas and cafes available. And a huge children's interactive play area in the basement.
A most stunning gallery with an exceptional collection of aboriginal art. The building itself is an architectural marvel incorporating a WWII fuel depository as a massive basement gallery/activity center.
This new Art Gallery next to the original Art Gallery has an aboriginal name which means "seeing waters". The inviting building designed by Japanese architects is futuristic looking with large open spaces, colours. It's popular with tourists and locals, especially the large sculpture exhibits that adorn the entrance. Lovely seating areas and cafes available. Toilets nearby. Lots of interesting exhibits on display.
The architecture of the building is simply outstanding, with this spaces intertwined in different levels as terraces, following the landscape natural slope. The exhibition space is great too, with large galleries and lots of natural light, given the design of the museum. It’s an extension of the Art Gallery (Naala Nura) but it feels like something very radicated in the city.
