Food was acceptable. I ordered futo maki, and my date ordered salmon maki. Tuna and salmon sashimi did not taste particularly fresh, though it wasn’t inedible. The salmon maki was average. The potato croquette and futo maki were the stronger items, largely because they are difficult to execute poorly. The issue was service. While the staff was efficient, their frustration with the length of our meal was evident. A dessert menu was pushed onto the table, and immediately after we finished the tiramisu (which was very poor), the check was presented without any interaction. If fast table turnover is required, the restaurant should implement and communicate a time limit, as many do. Absent that, a baseline level of professionalism should be maintained regardless of how long guests take to dine.

This is a fun, vibrant place where you can get delicious sushi and izakaya bites at a reasonable price! I came in as a problem customer as much as I tried not to be - reservation for 2, but my friend got sick so she couldn’t make it, so I came in alone. I also got too hungry so I came 30 minutes before my reservation. The hostess was friendly and helped me immediately get seated at the bar, where the efficient yet friendly enough waitress took my order soon after I sat down. There are so many people around having fun and drinking together, I hope to bring my friends here too! Everything was delicious and it was easy to go in and go out. The decor and ambiance were lovely as well. Can’t wait to return! Food: Kanpachi handroll Miso soup Salmon avocado maki Crazy shrimp tempura maki Asahi beer lol

Service wasn‘t too friendly, but food was excellent. Best Izakaya food I‘ve tried in Boston. Kanpachi was superb, Saba was pickled but grilled nicely. Takoyaki had good chunks of Tako, Tofu was nice but served with little dashi. Would definitely come again.

I was recommended this spot by a friend and definitely don't think it lived up to the hype. With an existing reservation, it took them 15 minutes to seat us. We had to flag down the waiter multiple times before they took our order, and it took another 35-40 mins for us to finally receive our food. Once we received our food, it was wrong -- I asked to make modifications to my bowl because of an allergy and the bowl they served had it on. The manager was super apologetic and gave us a free sparkling water which was nice, but tbh the problem is that they're very understaffed and are taking on way too many customer than they accommodate! The sushi bowl was good but pork tonkatsu was not good (was super tough & portion was so small). When billing out they accidentally added another sushi bowl we didn't order to our bill, and good thing we caught it or else we'd pay $140++ for just 3 items ordered. Overall, while the stuff was nice and super apologetic, I think the resto was very understaffed. We did eat here on a Sat evening so I do hope service is better on weekdays. Service wasn't great and food was mid for the price.
