Nancy is AMAZING!! I never learned how to apply makeup and don't know the first thing about finding the right color match for my skin tone. But I'm getting married in September and I needed someone to teach me. I spent weeks looking for someone locally to teach me but couldn't find anyone with experience doing makeup for asian women. But when I came across Nancy's business, I knew she was the one. I drove 6 hours from Florida to Huntsville, AL just to take her 1-on-1 makeup lesson and it was COMPLETELY worth it. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!
I can’t say enough good things about Nancy Finnegan, MUA! I was a bridesmaid and had worked with her before, so I knew how talented and in-demand she is. When I went to book online, I accidentally didn’t complete the checkout and deposit, I just assumed my time was confirmed. A few days before the wedding, I texted Nancy to make sure I was on the books, and she immediately responded and explained that I actually wasn’t scheduled but might have an opening if another client canceled. From 10:53 a.m. until about 1:22 p.m., Nancy stayed in constant communication with me, updating me and trying to make it work. She truly went above and beyond to fit me in, and I was so relieved and grateful when she found a 10:30 a.m. spot for me at her downtown studio! I honestly cried from the relief and appreciation. Her professionalism, kindness, and quick communication were incredible. And of course, her makeup artistry was flawless as always! Even though my appointment was at 10:30 a.m., my makeup lasted perfectly through pictures at 2, the wedding at 6, cocktail hour, the reception, and even the after party, all the way until 12:52 a.m.! Nancy is not only amazing at what she does, she genuinely cares about her clients and goes out of her way to make sure everyone feels beautiful and taken care of. I highly, highly recommend her! 💕
Choosing Nancy to do my makeup for my event was truly one of the best decisions I could have made. I recently had a makeup lesson with Nancy and WOW! Now I know how to apply makeup, but the little tips and tricks and helping me find the right products and understanding them has been an absolute GAME CHANGER! I get so many complements now on my makeup and I owe it all to Nancy! She is so knowledgeable on many beauty/makeup products! I just couldn’t believe it has taken me this long book my lesson and learn such easy updates to my makeup game! People tell me “oh you are beautiful without makeup”, and sure I agree haha! But the way Nancy taught me how to apply my makeup after this lesson has only helped enhance that beauty! Thank you Nancy for a wonderful morning last month and for the many tips and tricks you shared with me! I will definitely be coming back for special occasions!
Nancy is phenomenal! She makes you feel like a diva from the moment you walk into her studio. She will cater to your music taste which makes the experience so much fun. Nancy has done my makeup for numerous events and I will continue to use her for all my needs. I highly recommend Nancy!
