Disappointed with my most recent experience here. My tyre warranty didn’t really give me the discount or replacement tyre I would have anticipated when I got a puncture. On top of that, you told me the cost was a tyre was a certain price, not informing me that you had put the tyre warranty on again without asking if had even wanted it again. I paid, not realising until afterwards when looking at my receipt that you had charged me for this. It’ll probably be the last time I go here as a result.
Be careful of this garage I had a confirmed appointment to replace the rear offside tyre. Upon arrival, I specifically asked the manager to ensure that the exact tyre I had ordered was fitted, as I had previously experienced an issue last year where the incorrect tyre was installed. Despite this clear instruction, when I returned to collect my vehicle, I discovered that the wrong tyre had once again been fitted. When I questioned why the tyre was not checked before fitting, the manager responded dismissively, stating that “humans make mistakes.” The communication was unprofessional and rude, and my concerns were not taken seriously. I was then advised that the correct tyre would need to be ordered again and fitted the following day. To make matters worse, I later received a receipt and vehicle inspection report containing photographs of a completely different car, which raises serious concerns about the accuracy of their records and the quality of their service. On the following day, I attended the garage to have a new right tyre fitted. The process took an unreasonably long time, during which staff members were repeatedly walking around my vehicle as if searching for something. I then became aware that the wheel locking nuts had been misplaced by the garage. After waiting for approximately two hours, I was informed that my car was ready. Upon inspection, I noticed that non-original, standard wheel nuts had been fitted instead of my original locking nuts. When I raised this issue with the manager, I was informed that my original locking nuts had been “thrown in the bin.” I requested the return of my original locking wheel nuts, at which point the manager became aggressive, raised his voice, and stated that he would buy new nuts instead. I was then required to wait for a further hour. the manager return with replacement nuts and fitted them to my vehicle. Following this, the manager asked whether I was recording the interaction. I confirmed that I was not. He then told me not to return to the garage in the future. Furthermore, I was wrongly accused by manager of hiding the locking wheel nuts, which I strongly deny. This accusation was both distressing and unprofessional. I do not recommend this garage to anyone, and if you go please check your car carefully after.
Went to the branch on Alexandra Parade in Glasgow. Excellent service. Had to get a new tyre and as I had the tyre warranty it went smoothly. Keith who dealt with me was absolutely brilliant. Sorted things out. Ordered a tyre and fitted. Supplied fitted took out the warranty again. An overall quality and excellent service provided. Especially by Keith. Thank you for your service.
I visited National Tyres and Auto care last week and the service I received from Shakur, was professional and attention to detail during my 10 point car check was not rushed in any way. Shakur went the extra mile to show me around my car to identify the maintenance required to keep my car healthy. I felt reassured by the advice and recommendations given to me. All the team were friendly and very supportive. I was provided with some oil as a gesture of good will as my oil level was dry to ensure I got home safe! I recommend this garage for anyone looking for 5 ⭐ service, thank you Shakur!
I can’t praise these guys enough - everyone is absolutely lovely and helpful! I dropped my car off for it’s MOT on Friday (she’s getting old and needed a fair bit of work done) and the manager even managed to convince a very sweet and kind mechanic from another shop in their network to come over on a Saturday to re-test my car so I could have it back sooner (completely off their own backs - incredibly kind and considerate). I also cannot describe the relief I feel after getting my car back and it’s running so smoothly and everything is fixed!! (sounds silly but I’ve previously taken it to another mechanic to investigate some issues I was experiencing and was repeatedly told “nothing was wrong”) Very honest, knowledgable and really lovely guys, always going above and beyond to help. 10/10, you’re absolute stars :-) thanks again!
