I’ve used this tailor a few times and every time, they are quick, affordable and do such a quality job! A few years ago, I had a vintage leather jacket that was a few sizes too big and wanted to made smaller. It was a big job but they adjusted the size so it was a perfect oversized fit for me. Recently, I took in my favourite oversized vintage leather jacket to get the sleeves shortened. I’ve been wearing it with the sleeves rolled up for years. They did amazing job and the sleeves look amazing! They did it in 6 days and it cost £40 which is really affordable and fast compared to other local tailors. I’ll always go here to get my secondhand clothing tailored to fit :)

I had to give one star to leave a review, but this company does not even deserve that. I have used this place previously for trousser alterations and have not had a problem. But I wanted some Roman blinds made and Ibrahim stated that he could do this and mentioned a ball park figure. So because I had used them before without an issue and was happy to use them. So he did state that maybe they would be ready the following week, no not the following week or the week after or the week after that. I was not kept informed even though he took my number. I left it, thinking I don't want to rush him, so contacted him after 3 weeks and he told me the following week, again no. So this time I visited the shop, a member of staff stated he was not there. So I went back again still not there, I went back the following week he stated that he was out of the country for an emergency which I understood. He stated that they would be ready the following week no theh were not, all along not even letting me know what was happening. On the 8th week I called him and he stated that he had just started cutting them! I said that i would be coming in next week to collect them he said he would call me when they are ready he didn't. So on went in on the 9th week and they were ready. Because the shop is so small on the main blind is very big, when I collected them I could not see it fully. Upon returning home and hanging the blinds the workmanship is terrible to say the least. The main blind was alot shorter than the two side panels, I even took the old blinds in for him to go by. I took the blind back and pointed this out to him which he tried to deny, a customer in the shop held them for me so I could point out the error. One side was also longer than the other. I went back to collect them. Again I hung them, this time the other side was the problem. Also I was so constrated on the main blind, I didn't even mention the side blinds which are not even, the stitching is horrendous the tension on the sewing machine has caused the material to pucker. I was so upset after spending alot of money on the material and the money I paid him, which he tried to charge me nearly double of what he originally quoted me. I said no this is the amount you said again which he denied, we came to a compromise but he asked for cash for doing this. After giving him the chance to rectify his error and him falling to do so, I went back a third time without the blinds very upset. I showed him pictures of the continuing errors. I was crying in the shop because I was so upset, he didn't show any empathy, tried to make me look like an idoit, stating this wasn't his error didn't want to look at the images, stating to bring them in and he would fix it, I explained that I had lost all trust in him. He was argumentative in front of customers, was shouting stating I should leave the shop, holding scissors in his hand whilst arguing with me. At one point he left the shop because he was becoming so irate. I have never encountered such behaviour or lack of customer service and to try and defend what he had done, absolutely disgusting. He tried to intimidate me with his colleague because I was a lone female. I will attach photos and people can judge for themselves.

Fantastic service every time. Actual craftsmanship tailoring and always reasonable fair pricing. I’ve brought numerous (4) pairs of trousers there to tailor in, and now they are the perfect style for me. My number one to go place for any tailor work!

A few days ago I brought 2 items for alterations on the day that I was scheduled to collect the items. I bought a Rab waterproof winter coat that had a broken zip. I was asked if I had two minutes spare & asked to take a seat. The tailor was able to replace the zip within two minutes & charged me a cheap price. I was expecting a much higher price so I gave the tailor a tip. I have worn the jacket today & the zip works like a dream & is either the exact zip or the replacement looks identical to the zip that was on the jacket/coat before. I would thoroughly recommend this service & I will tell others about the service I received & recommend this service to any and everyone.
