Tried Sitara Indian Restaurant and this is easily one of the best Indian buffets in Austin. The live dosa stand, the variety of biryanis was impressive, each with distinct flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The chaat and pani puri were great, and the dessert spread (rasgulla, rasmalai, double ka meetha, burfi) was outstanding. Clean, well run, and great value. Definitely coming back.
Words can't explain how good this food is, everything about this place I loved, from the staff to the atmosphere, to the speed of service to the taste and authenticity of the food...I was genuinely blown away. I was originally kind of scared of going because of the prices but talked myself into going... anyways and I'm so glad I did because it is worth the money.....The portion sizes they give are absolutely massive and the taste of the food makes it so worth the price I highly recommend the butter chicken and the mutton keema biryani, I also got some flatbread that I can't remember the name of but it was stuffed with onions and the lovely waitress recommended some dipping sauce for it and it was delicious!!! I would definitely be coming back!! ❤️❤️
Visited today for the buffet with excellent variety, fresh naan, and flavorful curries. Everything tasted authentic and well seasoned. Friendly staff and service made it a great experience. Worth it for lunch or dinner today.
New Sitara is easily the best Indian and Southeast Asian restaurant within 200 miles of Austin. The Mutton Dum Biryani is rich and perfectly cooked, the lamb chops are tender and flavorful, the Tava Fish is spot-on, and the Paya Soup is incredibly comforting. The staff is friendly and attentive, they go out of their way to make every visit exceptional. If you want top-tier flavors and great hospitality, New Sitara is a must.
I’ve tried almost every other Indian restaurant, but this one truly stands out and has become my new favorite Sitara restaurant ! The food is exceptional, and the service is top-notch. They even gave us two complimentary Indian sweets, which were amazing. I highly recommend this place the fry piece pulao is outstanding, and the tawa fish and Chicken Majestic are the best appetizers!❤️
