Perfect little wine bar - totally overlooked by many as a great place to go but I’m happy with that given the attentiveness from the team there and the quality of the food - wine knowledge is what you would expect from the team and it’s positive to see they are investing in their staff. Would definitely recommend and will without a doubt be back for a third + visit - shout out to Kieran and Taylor for excellent service and knowledge - thank you!
LOVE this place. Dont know why I haven't tried it sooner. Had a wine tasting experience, really good value for money and the wine was incredible. Liv looked after us and great knowledge. I woll be returning to try the white and rose too. 10/10.
NoNo is a big Yes Yes from me! Every detail has been thought out and curated by someone with a keen eye. Food is amazing, beverage selection is even better! Using the iPad to find a drink tailored to my taste was a really nice touch. All the way from Australia, we will be back!
At last we have a decent wine bar in Leeds and I can say that it’s the best that I’ve come across in the UK! Selection of over 100 wines by the glass across a wide price range, some more unusual wines to satisfy geeks Lots of info on the wines available. Loved the iPad and easy ordering system The bao buns were delicious too. Great knowledge service. On a Wednesday early evening it was very busy, so I would advise that you book a table via the website
The experience was lovely, and I appreciate it’s your first few days opening. The welcome was warm, and although a little flustered, staff seemed really happy and engaging. Positives: - Warm welcome and engaging staff - Beautiful environment, staged well and clean- Great explanation of the menu and ordering system which I loved - Cold wine, served quickly - Staff knew a fair amount about the wines which was really useful and showed they cared - Bar staff were amazing, working hard, and happy to talk Constructive feedback: - We booked and arrived a few minutes late, but still had to wait 10 minutes for the table to be ready (it was free) - The kitchen was reportedly closed at 20:30 but you kindly still made food, and it was still coming out at 20:45 for some people. Maybe some snacks, or easily fried goods (like the fries and bread) could be done by waiting staff until closing? - We ordered an English sparkling and a Champagne, and they got mixed up slightly upon arrival. Just to avoid that happening with other wines, thought I’d mention. - Wine not on the list, was on the shelves, so while waiting we started to fall in love with some of the wines. When it came to selecting a glass or bottle, of course that beautiful wines were not available. Maybe a small notice to avoid disappointment? Well done on an amazing first few days, it was a great visit. Keep up the amazing work and hope we get an invite back.
