Oakheart is the best vet in Raleigh. They are so sweet to my dogs, they set them at ease and love on em like they were their own. They helped me send my Schnauzer gently across the rainbow bridge last year are now are helping fix our foster after another vet didn’t get along with him. There ability to get on the dogs level and not bring any tension in the room made our first visit with our foster a success when the prior vet almost got eaten alive lol. I started going to Oak Heart 6 years ago when I moved to NC. This place has been the best experience I’ve ever had with a vet. Their prices are fair, they send me visit totals/estimates so I can budget for all 5 of my pets ahead of time before their appointments and they make me feel confident to ask questions. Two of my pets are particular and they allow me to keep the same Dr and techs every time to allow familiarity. When my cat passed they handled everything with such grace and sincerity. It truly is a family feel vet and I’m so grateful to go here! All locations are wonderful!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I knew the moment my dog had her seizure that it would be her last. I called ahead, they were ready for me, gave me the time I needed and were so gentle with my baby. I absolutely loved the "from nose to toes" prints they gave me. Great crew!

Elisa, the kennel tech, is the most amazing and caring person I have ever met. Im a vet tech myself and I can say I felt 100% safe leaving my sick dog in Elisa’s care. I was in the hospital for pneumonia and Elisa came to my house to pick up my dog and bring her to boarding at oakheart and wouldn’t even accept any money. When my dog started having stomach issues, Elisa kept me up to date on everything that was happening. She got my dog in to see a doctor and now my pup is feeling much better. I am so so grateful for the whole staff st oakheart, but Elisa really went above and beyond to take care of my baby. I wouldn’t bring my dog any where else for boarding. Oakheart is the absolute best. Get Elisa a raise she deserves the world!!
