I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennifer, the owner of Off Leash K9 Training. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond. After I emailed about some missed voicemail communication, she responded quickly and personally called me immediately making me feel heard, valued, and genuinely cared for. Earlier in 2025, I had a dog who trained here and has since sadly passed away. When I decided to welcome a new puppy into my life this month, Jennifer showed an incredible level of compassion and understanding. She helped get my puppy into an upcoming class and even allowed me to use credit from classes I had already paid for with my previous dog, something she absolutely did not have to do, but did out of kindness. She also took the time to apologize, explain everything clearly, and share helpful at-home training tips for me and my partner to start using right away. We sent our 5 month old standard poodle to Off Leash for the two week board and train. She was third dog we have sent there so we were fully confident in trusting Off Leash. We were not disappointed! Tony was our trainer and he did an outstanding job. We received a report card everyday on our dogs progress as well as his observations. He posted videos everyday of our dogs training in various types of environments. Overall we are very pleased and highly recommended Off Leash K9 Training for your training needs.

We had the absolute BEST experience with Tammy from Off Leash K9 Maryland! She worked with our pittie, Frankie, and completely exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning, Tammy showed so much patience, love, and understanding for Frankie, while also giving us the confidence and tools we needed as owners. The progress Frankie made was incredible and the daily updates, videos, pictures, and report cards made us feel so connected to her journey even when she wasn’t with us. It was clear how much care Tammy put into every single training session, and how much she genuinely loves what she does. Frankie came home so well-behaved, happy, and confident, and we feel so lucky to have had Tammy guiding her training. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Off Leash & Trainer Tony It’s been almost a week since we got our puppy Opal back from her two-week board-and-train with Off Leash, and the only reason we haven’t written this review sooner is because we’ve been too busy enjoying all the incredible new things she’s learned! Opal is a one-and-a-half-year-old pit bull who was socialized and trained as a pup — until she developed serious health issues that left her throwing up daily and losing a tremendous amount of weight. After months of vet visits, we finally found answers, but during that time Opal regressed into a stubborn, unruly pup. Walks became stressful — she would pull hard, bark aggressively at other dogs, and we stopped enjoying one of our favorite activities: hiking and walking together. I was nervous about spending money on training after so many expensive vet bills, but we knew we needed to help Opal and give her a chance to thrive. I’m so glad we trusted Off Leash — it has been absolutely life-changing. Since her training with Tony, Opal is a completely different dog in the best way possible. She follows every command, is calm and focused, and has already rebuilt her trust with us. She’s been on multiple hikes off leash (less than a week out of training!) and she stays right with us without getting distracted or running off. It’s night and day from where we started. Tony was amazing from day one. During intake, he took the time to really understand our concerns and our goals. He sent us progress videos every day, which was so reassuring. He even went out of his way to meet up with my mom to get more of Opal’s prescription food when we ran out — something he absolutely didn’t have to do, and it meant the world to us. When we picked Opal up, Tony spent as much time as we needed teaching us how to use her new collar, walking us through every command, and letting us practice so we could feel confident continuing her training at home. He was patient and kind, especially when I admitted I was nervous about using the collar. His reassurance that it’s simply a “tap on the shoulder,” not a punishment, gave me so much peace of mind. Now, Opal is happier, calmer, and more confident. She heels perfectly, is polite on walks, and we’ve already had so many strangers compliment her behavior. Most importantly, we have our sweet, adventurous girl back — and we get to enjoy walks and hikes as a family again. Tony and Off Leash, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You didn’t just train our dog, you gave her her world back — and gave us our joy back as her owners. We will recommend you to anyone looking to take their dog to the next level. Worth every single penny.

Sent my 8-month old pup RIO to Off Leash and she did great. It's now 2 weeks after her training and can say that it was hands down the best money spent. Before training she had strong leash reactivity and was a puller on the leash. RIO did well in training, learning to sit, place, down, off and remain calm to other dogs on leash around her. We are now reinforcing her skills daily, adding new commands like "stay" and transitioning to voice commands. I will say that I am grateful for the post-training session that Tony did with me when I picked up RIO. It takes a lot of practice to get good with the ecollar and be consistent in application. But the results are fabulous when you put in the time and I'm really pleased with the progress RIO has made. She is getting pretty reliable on voice commands and it's a real pleasure to walk with her now. We even had several people compliment her manners during our recent hike.
