My husband and I are planning our retirement in 5 years and as good as my husband is at finances and investments, we decided to have experts take over to better secure our futures. We researched many firms and after having our initial meeting with Philip Reuer, we decided immediately that we found our firm! In that first meeting, I informed Philip that finances and investing were foreign to me and apologized in advance for not understanding. Over the course of our meetings, Philip always makes sure that I understand everything before we move along, which I greatly appreciate!!! I now look forward to the meetings and do understand what is going on :) My husband and I are Christians and do give financially to our church and other ministries, and I was worried that we would try to be talked out of giving, not only does Philip understand, but he is a Certified Kingdom Advisor, which we had no idea about when we started. Knowing this only solidified our decision to become One Degree clients. I was hesitant in the beginning to let anyone "handle" our money, now my only complaint is that we didn't make the decision to turn our future over years ago!!!

It’s incredibly refreshing to have a team (and specifically our amazing advisor Matt!) who prioritizes comprehensive planning over just hitting a target number.
