I’d been searching for the right studio and engineer/producer for quite some time. The last guy I worked with was okay, but while his prices kept going up, the quality didn’t — and I knew it was time to find someone more skilled and professional. That’s when I found Joel’s website and decided to give him a try — and wow, what a difference! Joel’s passion for music is obvious, and he happens to specialize in the exact genre I’ve been working in. From the very first session, I was impressed and excited. Joel has an incredible ear and genuine talent. He immediately understood the sound I was chasing and even asked the kind of detailed questions that showed he truly cared about getting it right. That’s when I knew he was the right guy. If you’ve got a project and want it done right — with care, creativity, and professionalism — Joel is the one you want to work with, hands down. I was blown away, and I’m confident you will be too.
Joel is super awesome. My son’s friend was turning 7 years old and wanted to lay down a track for his big day lol. Joel was patient enough to allow two six year olds and two seven year olds to fumble around his studio and give it their best shot. It was all of their first times being able to experience time in the studio and I’m glad it was here. His prices are reasonable, he was polite, and professional. I’d definitely recommend One Music if you’re looking for studio time.
I came to Joel for a special project and he did not disappoint! I looked up local studios and One Music Studios the one that caught my eye. I reached out to him a few months in advance and finally stopped by the studio for my appointment this afternoon. I 100% agree with the rest of the 5 star reviews. The studio is gorgeous and very neatly kept. Joel was nothing but kind during our 1 hour session and helped guide me to execute my vision. We only had 1 hour together but he worked efficiently to get the results I was looking for and I am absolutely pleased with the final product. I highly recommend this local studio for any music projects that you have. He will help give you confidence and make you sound your best! Thank you so much, Joel! I couldn't have done it without you.
This is hands-down my favorite studio that I have ever been to. It has top of the line equipment, including an SSL console, a huge mic selection, and great sounding rooms. I recorded drums there and the recordings BEFORE being processed at all (no EQ, compression, or anything) sounded better than any finished drum sound I’ve ever gotten anywhere in the 30 years I’ve been recording drums. Joel is a gifted engineer and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend One Music Studios.
My band and I just recorded at One Music Studios. This was our first ever recording experience and Joel was a pleasure to work with. He made sure we felt comfortable and had fun. Before the session, he asked what our vision was and what we were looking for, so he could set up the session accordingly. He also gave helpful feedback and made suggestions, without pressuring us into changing our sound. Overall, very pleased with our experience at One Music, and with Joel. Would definitely recommend for artists at any level.
