On Trial: Orange Tree Antique Mall Prices: There’s a decent range, but overall prices lean toward the higher end. That said, the quality often justifies the cost. Items: Huge selection of high-quality pieces. If you can think of it, they probably have it. Atmosphere: HUGE and well organized, making it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. Clean, comfortable, and easy to spend a lot of time in. The Verdict: Orange Tree Antique Mall is a strong stop for serious antique shoppers. You may pay a bit more, but the selection and quality make it worth the visit if you’re looking for something special.
a fantastic vintage mall. those who are complaining about the “bag in lockers”…. huge sign before walking in.. super simple . super skinny booths with alot of great glassware that can easily get knocked over. it’s a easy rule to follow without being grouchy about it. i’d definitely shop here again when we are in town.. found incredible vintage pieces at great prices, great staff. will return when back in town. five stars ! from kansas and tokyo …
We have been shopping at this mall for over 20 years and have always had a great experience. We have not returned since earlier this year and realize there has been an ownership/management change. Something is different and its not a positive thing either. We were pleasantly greeted by one worker, yet ignored by several dealers working in their booths. I wonder if they have been advised not to talk to the customers? Not a huge deal, yet in recent years there was a very friendly, light-hearted vibe which has sadly disappeared! And it also encouraged us the buy things too. There were several items I was considering, but after a brief check online, it was significantly less expensive to purchase them online and pay the shipping too. When it came time to consider one last item with a price tag a bit over $200.00, we asked if there could be a discount for a dealer. The man with the gray hair and glasses flashed his phone in my face with the discounted price. And he said nothing! Then he stated that dealers have to eat too! We thought this was inappropriate and rude. Yes a small discount is what we thought appropriate, yet it turned out he was offering even more off but he seemed annoyed and assumed we were not going to buy it either way. But we did buy it even though it could have been purchased on Ebay for less! When Sherry (the previous owner was there) she would have never treated us like this! Ever... We are annoyed and irritated by this man's rudeness and it is because of him we have no plans to ever return to this mall. It's over-priced and unfriendly. And there are several other antique and collectibles malls nearby we visited afterwards that were FRIENDLY, PRICED COMPETATIVELY and were HAPPY WE CAME IN TODAY! Shame on you, OTAM! Update 11-24-25: Yes, I am aware that Sherry is a dealer there. Honestly, the only appropriate response should have been an apology for your employee's rude behavior, not some lame justification for your over-inflated prices. Yes, change is inevitable and its too bad this mall is decidedly different in terms of attitude and customer service. We will be visiting the other antique malls in the Orlando area again, but not this one.
Really enjoyed my time here. There are so many vendors here!! Tons of cute items, jewelry, clothes, VHS, CDs. Even uranium dishes!! I love how they glow. They look absolutely cool. The staff here was very friendly and welcoming. I like their policy to lock up your bag when you come in. They got lockers and you carry They key with you until you leave. The prices for everything seemed really affordable and reasonable; depending on item and age that is. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed as well. Some booths had music playing so it kept up a chill vibe. Good songs. Classic music to modern.
If you’re in the Winter Park area and want to do some antiquing or want a chill indoor activity in the AC, this is a great place to walk around. It is way, way bigger than it looks from the outside. I felt like the rooms kept going back, and back, and back. But that being said, with so much inventory there’s definitely some good stuff, yet some equally bad or questionable things. I felt that the overall vibe here was strange. Antique stores all have a unique feel, but I didn’t like how it felt at this one. And a lot of the items they had were actually kind of creepy/ disturbing/ gross where I’d just walk right past and not even try to take time. I’m not sure I’d bring kids in here or I’d be careful of where I’d let them wander. For the disney fans, they did of course have a good amount of memorabilia being so close by the parks. And there’s a big record & game room at the very back of the store that’s pretty neat. Also, a majority of the prices were pretty outrageous. You could find some good deals here and there if you really took the time to look but they’re definitely proud of what they sell. But again, we found a few fun things for reasonable prices and went on our merry way.
