As wedding planners, we have worked with countless photographers over the years, and we can confidently say that Jaims is truly one of the very best. Her work is stunning, but what truly sets her apart is the energy, passion, and care she brings to every wedding day. She is calm, collaborative, and incredibly fun to work with, all while maintaining a thoughtful, creative eye that is genuinely impressive. My husband and I are far from "naturals" behind the camera and Jaims made us feel so at ease during both our engagement shoot and wedding photos. She communicated well, managed a tight schedule, had great photo ideas, and was a joy to hang out with. My wedding party was extremely small so it was a relief that everyone felt comfortable with her right away. I am in love with our photos (especially the park ones!) and would highly recommend Our Ampersand as your photographer for your important day!
We hired Jaime for both engagement and wedding photography. We ended up postponing our wedding, but she took our engagement photos about two days before quarantine, and we are SO thrilled that she will be with us next year on our wedding date. Jaime has a way of making people who are horribly awkward in photographs look natural and lovely. She does this both with her technical skills as a photographer, as well as her personality and how she communicates with her subjects. Our engagement photos are spectacular and she is one of the things we are most looking forward to for our big day! *edited Jaime shot our delayed wedding in September of 2021. I’ll echo everything I said above and add that Jaime not only creates beautiful images and makes people feel comfortable to be photographed, but she went above and beyond to make the day smooth and stress-free!
You can stop looking for a photographer right now- Jaime is INCREDIBLE and her photos are breathtaking. She did my husband and my engagement shoot and our wedding pictures and we are absolutely in love with everything she sends us. She is so helpful and easy going, easy to work with, personable and professional. I love her candid shots as much as the ones she helped us get in position for. Her eye for the shot is just amazing. Can’t wait to renew my vows so she can shoot us again :)
Working with Our Ampersand for our wedding was a dream come true! All weddings are hectic and you miss so much in the rush of emotions and interactions, but not with Jaime there! Not only did she coordinate the photo taking, she kept the day moving and on schedule and afterward we had an absolutely stunning record of all the moments we were there for but may not remember. I receive compliments on these photos all the time, not to mention she is a blast to work with and so wonderful at directing and making you feel comfortable and at ease. Working with her was the best decision we made for our wedding and I would book her for again for any type of photography session.
