We went into Oz Design to buy the Evie 3 seater couch and Bev helped us out. Bev was the loveliest lady with the best customer service! Thank you Bev for making the process of buying a couch a simple, easy and happy process! Bev for employee of the month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Products of good quality. Purchased an entertainment unit, built of solid timber and made in Australia. Sales team in store could be a more customer focused. We had to approach them to get service and send $2500+.
Ordered Rolla Dining table 17/10/21 - eventually arrived June 2022. On arrival one of metal legs machined incorrectly and unable to assemble table. Put onto Customer Care! No telephone calls, email only. Sent out furniture repair person, obviously not sent pictures or advise issue. Could not fix. Was advised by other stores that have had similar problems. Surely a spare leg in a warehouse that they could supply? No - had to order a new table. After following up on multiple occasions, told by Macgregor store it was there to collect. Nothing from Customer care. Advised that I worked full time but had a Friday off but only available until 11:15am or after 3pm. Multiple emails advising couldn't provide a delivery window time and me saying that I had been mucked around long enough and that was when I was available. They then decided to tell me that they would deliver on the Saturday, once again no consultation or telephone call with me. I work until 2pm Saturday's so that wasn't going to work. Eventually I told them I wanted compensation of $400 as major failure of consumer guarantee - product cant be used for the purpose it was purchased for (which I am entitled to ask for) - so I could get the leg machined and re powder coated. It was refused. Note I am now copying in the managing director Michael Petricevic into the emails - asking for a response. Nothing. I was eventually bullied into accepting a refund of the table BUT they weren't refunding until they collected the table. Really? But funny they can collect between 9am and 11am on the Friday! So I said to them that if they can collect within a that time frame then they can deliver my table instead. It was refused. This is against consumer guarantees - when major failure the trader cant decide the remedy. Anyway complaint made to NSW OFT and then we will take them to Civil Administration Tribunal . This company is non Australian. Import items from China with absolutely no quality control checking. They rely on that 80% of the product is fine and with other 20% they don't actually care and try to do as little as possible to resolve the situation. They are bullies. Their shops are simply display stores. So BEWARE if you get a dodgy item only remedy is to take civil action against them! Oh and senior management take absolute no responsibility and refuse to respond, meaning you have to deal with the inept Customer care person.
Just wanted to give a shout out to the team at Bundall Oz Design. This is the second time I have returned to the store to purchase a couple of items, which look awesome by the way 🥰 The staff there where very kind and helpful, great prices too.😎 If you want to be well looked after, go see them at Bundall store. Very happy and a truely satisfied Customer. We Will definitely be returning there again. Thank you Oz Design Bundall and the team. 😃
My experience resembles that of Marina Askew's left 3 months ago and I wish I read these reviews prior to purchasing. I purchased 6 items after checking with a service rep that these would be delivered in time for a business fit out. I later was advised these would land at port and be delivered to me 2 weeks later than anticipated (and 6 weeks after I was advised they would be available). I have since received another email stating these will now be further delayed another 2 months. Throughout this period where I have been advised the item are unavailable, they have continued to be marketed and on sale. I understand current times and shortages of stocks or delays in delivery, what I don't understand is the complete lack customer service when there is so much choice out there for furniture??? I have been advised that a refund is not an option, rather a store credit that is valid for 6 months. As I require the items now this does not suit me at all .. nor would I every intend to purchase anything further from this store and HIGHLY recommend you avoid any dealings with Oz Design. I have called to discuss with OZ Design via their customer service line, however they advise they do not talk on the phone and only communicate via email. Not sure what their understanding of Customer Service is?
