Ngl it’s been awhile since I’ve been to stand #13 in downtown Austin and OmG! Shout out to Pablo who gave me great customer service and cooked me one hell of a double cheese burger. I live next to the original stand on Barton Springs and me-oh-my I will be coming here more often. Look at this gem!
The BEST fast-food burger I have ever had, and it's not even close. Bursting with flavor (I could literally taste the black pepper!) and affordable for a burger like this. Fries and shake did not disappoint either. Service was quick. Absolutely coming back the next time I'm in Austin and recommending it to everyone goes there.
I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon, fries, and a sweet tea. The meal was excellent fresh, flavorful, and served promptly. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the service was efficient. A great experience at this downtown location
The best burgers. Our expectations weren't that high because it's not exactly the most glamorous front or eating area and the prices are so affordable but the burgers are THE BEST. Just back to the basics, great cheese burgers. We ate here for dinner every day. Shakes and fries were ok but the cheese burgers were great. There's only a few seats so I don't plan on eating here. The prices were great.
P. Terry’s on 6th is a burger joint, but I cheated on beef with the chicken sandwich and I’m not even sorry. That thing was so crispy and juicy it should come with a warning label. The place is tiny, like “if you sneeze, someone else’s fry moves” tiny, but the food comes out so fast it feels illegal. Perfect lunch spot if you work downtown and want something delicious before spiraling back into emails and existential dread. Bring a friend if you like awkward knee contact and sharing napkins like it’s a first date.
