-Great for fast food. Love the vegetarian burger option, and that you can easily customize your order. Also like the shakes. -Typically, I order ahead for no wait; one time, though, I went on an ACL day late night. It was absolutely PACKED and hectic, and my group waited over an hour for all of our food… the cooks were amazing and as fast as possible with handling the rush though.
Today was the last straw. The drive-thru employee handed me my food, shut the window, and walked away. I stayed parked because I needed to ask for one more thing I forgot. She clearly saw me still sitting there and chose to ignore me. No “Did you need anything else?” No check-in. Nothing. The cook eventually had to come to the window to help me…something that never should have been necessary. Forgetting to ask for something should not be a humiliating experience. Chick-fil-A would never do this. They stay attentive, they check back, and they help, even when customers forget something. That’s basic service. This location feels passive-aggressive, unwelcoming, and oddly irritated by the very people keeping it in business. That’s a management issue, not a customer issue. Why be mad at me? I’m a repeat customer who orders the same SIMPLE STUFF EVERY TIME. I’ve tried. I wrote another review before this. Same mess, no change. Now I get it. If management reads this, talk to your team but realize you have lost a repeat customer. Kindness, accuracy, and basic attentiveness are not optional. They’re the business. No more messing up my orders when the place is nearly empty, no more overcharging me half of the time for the SAME order depending on who’s working that day, no more being a repeat customer that seems to annoy the staff instead of being appreciated for repeat business.
BEST FRIES! I never add ketchup because the crispy deliciousness needs no accompaniment. And what a bargain. Great cheeseburgers though the meat could be warmer so it melts the cheese. When I lived closer to a location in Austin, this was a weekly treat. Shakes are delicious. Please add the peanut butter shake as a regular option! Love the MLK location in Austin. Great atmosphere.
I had JUST landed in Austin when my best friend recommended I try P. Terry's. He promised me an inexpensive and delicious burger and he told no lies! P Terry's is delicious, and incredibly reasonable on price. Why bother go to any of the big national fast food burger places when you have P Terry's?!
Day 4 of jury duty and I decided to go eat at p. Terry's. Been eating p Terry's since at least 2012 so I'm familiar with their menu. This location is accessible by the front of the street or an alley. Parking is available but limited. Inside is the traditional aesthetic and very clean and simple. The drink station's a little large compared to other locations but it looks like it's preexisting but it also looks like it's very empty. Maybe some signage to cover up this area or a picture? Ordered a double cheeseburger combo. No special sauce for me. Not a fan but I also haven't had it in a long time so I don't remember. Honestly I just like mustard cuz it's less calories. Always get the rice crispy and then upgrade the lemonade to a large. Pea Terry's does do free refills so that's nice. Overall normal experience and what do you hear again.
