We had never really trained our Lhasa Apso before and she was very protective of us and our house. She would snip at other dogs and bark at passerby’s. At age 7, we thought it may be too late to train our little one. Finding Marie and PackPerfect K9 has been a godsend. Marie has worked with Kaia and with us in a positive nurturing way and Kaia has responded so well. She is confident, listens and obeys commands, does great around other dogs and people. We started with private lessons and now Kaia visits Marie and other dogs in a group setting. She is so happy and well adjusted. We could not be happier. Marie knows her stuff and is a caring and loving teacher.
Marie is a genius! Huck spent 10 days with Marie for a board and train & came back a new dog. He learned here, place, sit, down & stay close. Huck absolutely loves seeing Marie for follow up trainings & he loves daycare with her too! If you’re looking for a dog trainer in Reno/Sparks I highly recommend Marie & trust her wholeheartedly.
I’m so thankful that I found Marie, she has taught me so much about puppy behavior. She has showed me successful ways to work with my puppy. Her doggie play days have been invaluable, she takes my puppy out to socialize her as well as pairs her with others dogs in her care for hours of play. If you’re looking for someone to work with your dog she is just the best!!!
Marie has been the most consistent, helpful, and patient trainer for me and my sweet pup! My malinois x Dutch shepherd can be a handful, Marie has helped us with both behavioral and obedience tasks and provided so many additional resources to study on my own! She shows up when she says she will, follows through with her plan, and there's no question that she has a great grasp of her craft.
We are so pleased with our experience with Marie! Our very spirited and stubborn puppy completed a 2 week board and train with Marie while we were out of the country for our wedding. Marie sent multiple daily updates with photos and videos, and we could see that he was not only progressing with training, but so happy! We had a little health scare (he swallowed a scrunchie right before we left) and she took extra time and care to make sure he was okay and kept us updated throughout. We felt so comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. When he came home it was clear that he absolutely adores her - while ecstatic to be home with his family, he was sad to see her go and so excited when she came back for a follow-up. The training she provided is pure magic and it is amazing to see the progress she made with him over two weeks. He is such a good boy! I highly recommend Marie to anyone looking to train their dog in a kind and effective manner that considers the personality of the dog. He had so much fun learning and she really tailored his training to his specific needs and personality. Thank you Marie!
