I purchased a custom-made couch from Parks, and within just a few months, feathers began coming out of the cushions extensively. I contacted Parks regarding the issue, and they reached out to the manufacturer, Decor-Rest. Their proposed solution was to provide additional cushion casings. When I picked them up, I discovered that these were simply loose materials intended to be used as internal inserts. I was expected to remove the existing feather filling from the cushions and transfer it into these new casings myself, which I find completely unreasonable. Given that this couch cost approximately $6,000, I expected a far higher standard of quality and customer service. This resolution is disappointing and does not align with the price or expectations of a custom-made piece of furniture.
I've had nothing but a good experience with parks. The sales staff (Teagan!) was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable adding to my confidence in what I was custom ordering. An initial order did not work out in my place, and Parks were very fair and accommodating in handling the issue, an exchange. Quirky old building makes shopping a throwback experience, but the selection is very good, and the prices are exceptional. Highly recommend you give them a look see with your next furniture purchase.
We’ve purchased and had items delivered 4 times over the past 15 years, across 2 homes and while adding 2 children to our family. Our experience from a few years ago made me question if we would use them again (horrible delivery experience with damage to multiple parts of our home, appalling customer service when trying to get that sorted). However, we decided to give them another shot when we needed a new bedroom set for one of our kids because the prices (especially as a member) can’t be beat and, when I inquired about delivery, I was told they no longer outsource delivery and have their own team now. We purchased a new bedroom set early November, it was delivered 1.5 weeks later. Teagan was so helpful during the ordering process, ensuring we had everything we needed and giving her professional opinion on various pieces. Karen helped us out when we had a scheduling concern with delivery. The two delivery folks were wonderful - quick, quiet, polite and kind. Thank you Parks for stepping up your game - we will definitely be back in a few years when it’s time to get our final little one a new bedroom set.
Wow! Incredible options and even better customer service. The couch we received is of amazing quality and our delivery workers were so patient and helpful- brought our couch up to our apartment, put it together, and took the boxes so we didn’t have to deal with any mess! Above and beyond! Not to mention their follow up- making sure we got our product and it’s to our liking. We also ordered in 2022 and I will continue to order my furniture from Parks. I recommend everyone do the same.
As a long time customer Park's Furniture has never disappointed me. This is due to the large selection (3 floors) with great value and quality. Sales staff is professional grade. My last visit was during a snow storm. The only person who made it to work was young man named Matt. In spite of being alone with people on all floors to look after, he managed to complete my order in what seemed record time. Delivery team is amazing. One purchase was a heavy bulky beautiful bar for my rec-room. It needed to go down the stairs and through several tight corners and narrow doorways. They made it look so easy. You could go to a big box store and take your chances or visit Park's. You won't be disappointed.
