I’ll start with information about the food. My colleagues and I ordered the tuna Crudo to start. The night before we had the tuna Crudo at persona, which is right around the corner from Parma. So we had to compare the two. We all agreed that the cut of the tuna was better at Parma. However, the seasoning was better at persona. Not to say that the Crudo was bad. We just chose the other one as the better one. I Ordered the orata Which is a dish of Seabass, shrimp clams and muscles. It comes with some leaks. I understand that sides come separate, but I still feel like there should’ve been some more greenery on the plate. Once again comparing to persona. I had fish at persona the night before, and the skin was not very crispy. The skin at Parma was wonderfully crispy. I definitely think the Fish dish that I had from Parma was better than the one from persona. The only negative I have is that a few of my bites were a little bit gritty so perhaps the seafood was not cleaned as well as it could have been. My colleagues mostly ordered pasta, and everybody seemed very pleased with their dishes. We shared the chocolate mousse for dessert. Again, comparing to persona we had the chocolate dessert there the night before. The chocolate dessert at persona was definitely a lot better. The mousse here at Parma could barely be called mousse it was so dense. It was also slightly lacking in flavor. In terms of dessert, I would say it was very middle of the road. The one thing that I would like to point out is that we came into the restaurant just after 7 o’clock. When we were being seated, I did mention that two members of our party were not with us. We sat down and ordered drinks and appetizers and then just before 8 o’clock. Our server came by to tell us that the kitchen was closing, and we had to place our main dish orders. I understand that we had been seated for quite some time already, but there was never mentioned of the kitchen closing, plus the other two members of our party had still not arrived. If there was a closing time of the kitchen close to guests being seated, they should be notified so that they can tell their colleagues to hurry up. Or even place orders for their colleagues so that everything didn’t feel so rushed. We were only given about 10 minutes notice. The ambience in here is very nice. I loved our oversize booth. My only negative about the interior is the bathrooms. It’s a little bit of a trek down a weird corridor, and it doesn’t seem to match the vibe of the rest of the restaurant, but it’s not a huge setback. They do have a bathroom on the main level for wheelchair access which I appreciate.

Best Italian restaurant I've ever been to (and I've been to Italy a couple of times)! I couldn't fault anything. We had the bruschetta, arancini, short rib risotto and the Orata (seabream). Everything was a perfect 10/10. Finished it off with a lovely semifreddo for dessert. The negronis and the two wines we had were also very good. Our server was also outstanding. Didn't get his name but he was a young man whose service was attentive and warm. The manager (I think?) also stopped by our table to chat a little bit and check on how we were enjoying the food. I'll be recommending this restaurant to everyone!

Been wanting to try Parma since it opened on King William. We went for my birthday, and it did not disappoint. First of all, the vibe in there is perfect, moody and romantic, and the espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had in Hamilton. Food was 10/10, the kind of food you dream of days later. Highly recommend having your next dinner out at Parma! Make a reso, because it did get busy as the night went on, but 100% worth the wait.

We went mid day (around 2:30) and had apps, pastas and a main. Madi was a wonderful server and helped us select a bottle of wine that paired nicely with our meal. We had the sharable bruchetta which was nicely prepared. Kind of like a tartare topping but If you don't like anchovies or fish you may wanna avoid this but it had a lot of flavor. We also had the primi polipo. This was very well prepared. The octopus was not chewy or over done and the combination of flavors on the plate made this one of my favourites. The gnocchi was light and fluffy with wonderful tomato sauce with plenty of fennel sausage pieces. For the secondi we had the orata. Again the chef did an amazing job the seafood was perfectly cooked on all fronts. Juicy flavorful shrimp nothing over cooked or rubbery. The sea bream has a perfectly crispy skin with nice juicy meat. I lived our experience here we had a wonderful and an amaro selected by our server. Everything was great.

Tried this restaurant out last week and it was so enjoyable that I wanted to write this review while we were sitting at the table. Everything from ambience to service and the main event - food, was flavorful perfection. Vanessa was our waiter and was so informative of everything that sets Parma apart from the rest. They import so many of their ingredients and you can taste and feel the difference. Cannot wait to go back.
