I took my 2 cats for the first time at the beginning of this year, for being their first hair cut it was good I was happy with their job as they did what I expected them to do, I took my cats again on December 19th to get their second hair cut I booked my appointment for more than 3 months in advance as I wanted them to be ready for the holidays, as last time I was happy with their service I paid in advance $225 for the haircut of my two cats, I dropped them off at 7 am and around 12:40 they called me they were ready to pick up, when I got there they told me, they were only able to do the cut of my Male cat and not for my Female cat because she was moving like a”Kangaroo”, they tried but they were not able to do their cut, they said they were going to refund me the amount of money I paid for her ( I paid $112,50 ) they only refund me $75 less of what I paid, they said I should try to schedule and appointment maybe after the holidays as there were so many pets at the time. I’m very unhappy as I booked their appointment with months in advance, they didn’t even try to do hair cut (her hair was the same as when I dropped her off), they only gave me $75 back and 2 cats that look completely different (they are twins) and a very unhappy client,. They preferred to overload with costumers per day and do another pet cut instead of having the time to cut my cat’s hair and dedicate her the time she needed.

Still being new to RVA I researched and found this amazing business. My 15 yr old mainecoon needed to be groomed because of some significant matting. When i called, the front desk made a same day appt for us. We arrived to be greeted super kindly. But what happened next is the stuff miracles are made of. Until now I have never found anyone who could groom my boy without sedation. These groomers knew exactly how to handle my old cat. They worked quickly but so carefully. This was by no means an easy job. But my cat seemed to trust them instantly..they worked hard for almost an hour. And their price was totally reasonable. If anything , i owe them more$. Thank you for breathing life into my old kitty. He came out looking so much better. I am so grateful to both techs who did such precision work to remove the matting. I LOVE Paws and Claws! They are amazing with dogs who are anxious to get their nails clipped. My drama king Baxter gets very panicky and nippy over his nails being trimmed, to the point where we've been refused by some of the bigger chain groomers. This crew is so understanding. They get his nails clipped quickly and we're out in no time. They've also been great with my parents' dogs who are anxious about being on the table. The staff is so accommodating for them because they know how to make each pet as comfortable as possible. This is the only place I recommend to people!

Mon chien est un cas difficile, il est extrêmement nerveux et il ne coopérait pas. Il a été renvoyé à plusieurs reprises lors de ses précédentes séances de toiletteage, mais Paws and claws a fait un très bon travail.
