My dog, Bentley is a regular at this PetSmart grooming salon and has been groomed here many times without issue. Unfortunately, during our most recent visit, he was handled by a new groomer who has never worked on him before and ignored his grooming history along with specified service notes. This groomer gave him a horrendous haircut with shaved ears down to the skin - completely unlike his usual groom and clearly inconsistent with prior grooming notes. While there was no physical injury, the result was distressing, unacceptable, shows a lack of care, and reflects poor training, or supervision. This was not a simple “bad haircut” — it was negligent grooming. I have documented the condition of my dog and reported this to store management and corporate. I strongly caution other pet parents and hope PetSmart takes accountability and improves oversight of groomers. Photos are 13 days apart Nov. 30th & Dec. 13th. *Awful groom done by BECCA A.*
This is my favorite place for grooming! Riley and Becca always do an amazing job. they’re patient, accommodating, and great with our dogs, even with their special quirks. Everyone here has been wonderful, and they always make me feel confident bringing my girls in. Now they look their best for the holidays! Thank you, ladies
My 5 stars is specifically for Anna who groomed my dog today. I’ve been here several times before and they do okay. Last time they missed grooming his tail and cut off his pony tail, but today Anna made up for previous visits. She was even able to get his paws groomed and kept his hair on top of his head in a nice pony tail. Thank you for the extra attention to detail, my dog looks really good after today’s visit.
Grooming*** please do not get your pup groomed by Liz “ the manager “ she left my poor boy so bad!!! We’ve taken him a couple of times! We had never had an issue ever!! When I saw my poor pup I was like this can’t be possible!!! She has sooo sooo many excuses !!! My mom just took him and went home! I called and was taken care of by Delilah the manager she was amazing *** very caring and gave me a same day appointment with another groomer who was amazing (Kelly) !!! Yet, the “amazing manager “ still had de audacity to say he didn’t look that bad! So yeah it’s a good grooming place we’ve been there about 5-6 times just don’t pick Liz!
We brought our Mini American Shepherd in yesterday, 3/12, for a "bath and brush" plus "essential pampering" add on. When we dropped him off we specifically told the worker who took him that he needed a sanitary trim, paw pad trim, and tooth brushing. I understand that he wasn't the easiest dog to deal with as it was his first time at the groomer, but we were specifically told that they were able to complete all the services we'd paid for. When we got him home and took a closer look it was apparent they only bathed him and trimmed his nails. No fur was trimmed anywhere, and there was still a piece of grass stuck in his teeth that we'd been trying to get out for the last 4 days. We are perfectly capable of bathing our dog and trimming his nails at home, for almost $70 I don't think I'm out of line to expect a little more, let alone to not be lied to about what services were actually performed. Very unfortunate, and we definitely will not be bringing him back for grooming ever again.
