I was so disappointed in the management of this art center. It is extremely apparent the joy and safety of children or staff is not as important as the money coming in. The amount of times I’ve had my child taught by someone who was severely ill, no voice, coughing, sneezing is unacceptable. There is no wonder the turn over for staff is so quick. Please take better care of your teachers.

My son (4 years old) has been taking classes at Philly Art Center for the past 2 years. He is currently in the Mini-Masters class (which he has done for multiple sessions) and he will be in the summer camp this year. The teachers and staff at the front desk are friendly, knowledgeable and create a fun/safe environment that every child (and adult!) can feel that walks through the door. Over the course of my sons time taking art classes here, his confidence as an artist has grown and he is comfortable creating his own works & using his imagination. My son has quoted his art teachers at home saying "anything can make art" when I said I was going to throw cardboard away and he wanted to draw/create with it, or saying "my teacher said that I'm an artist!". Basically, 5 stars isn't enough to rate this place.

I really wanted to love this art center, but my experience there was disappointing. Aside from the fact that the adult classes they offer are limited and overpriced, the actual education you’re paying for is pretty underwhelming. It seems that anyone who has even the slightest bit of experience as an artist is suddenly called a teacher and given a job here. And the customer service, provided by teenagers with no social skills or understanding of the proper exchange of services and money, is severely lacking. I was actually blatantly lied to on several occasions, even after I told them that I knew the truth. It must be difficult to source quality employees, but the tuition should reflect that and it just does not. Queen Village desperately needs good art programs, but PAC is not in the running.

Ma petite a fréquenté le camp au cours des trois derniers étés et l'apprécie vraiment. Elle a l'occasion d'être créative, de jouer et de travailler vraiment sur l'art qu'elle aime. À la fin de la semaine, elle rapporte tout ce sur quoi elle a travaillé et je peux dire qu'ils lui permettent d'aller où son imagination veut aller (dans le cadre du thème de la semaine). Les enseignants sont toujours amicaux et chaleureux. Je le recommanderais vivement à quiconque cherche un endroit amusant et sûr pour ses petits. Oh, et portez des vêtements confortables dans lesquels ils peuvent se salir.
