Loved my visit of the Ken Done exhibition.. the Cloud exhibition in the children's section was well impressive too!
We visited this art place which is housed in a heritage building. There weren't a lot of exhibits as the place is not that large. There are a couple of floors to explore and it's convenient that they have a lift to all floors.
Yeah look, I'm as familiar with modern art as I would with the personal lives of the Kardashians, who I couldn't give anything about. Still, there are pieces here that I really like, pieces here that make me question the state of the art today and stuff that's really, eugh. No, that is not the desired reaction. I have strong opinions about modern art but this isn't the right forum. It is still a nice building to visit and a good activity if you're out of things to do in the city centre. I would even prefer to go to this place than looking at whatever trash they put in AGWA these days.
Free and easily accessible exhibition space. Staff are friendly and helpful, but it's a small space and very easy to navigate without assistance/guidance. It's great that they highlight the work of emerging artists and art school graduates.
Came pretty late around 4pm so didn’t get much time as I wanted, but there wasn’t much to see once I was inside. The building is pretty small in comparison to AGWA, and much fewer exhibits on display as well. Worth a quick visit if you are nearby, but otherwise AGWA has more to see and do.
