Quality pizza at an incredibly affordable price. Three cheese slices and a barbecue chicken slice with a bottle of seltzer came out to just over $14. I haven't paid that little for decent pizza in years. They have three small tables to eat at, but it appears to be primarily set up for takeout.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Pizzeria Las Americas for years and have spent a great amount of money there. I’ve purchased everything from pizza, salads, tea, fruit bowls, water, and Red Bulls and even donated when one of their delivery drivers was hospitalized (RIP). While I understand prices have gone up with the economy, I was really disappointed during my recent visit. I asked for just a cup with a lid, and the woman at the register hesitated before charging me $0.75. It wasn’t about the amount — it was about the principle. After all the support I’ve shown, it was upsetting to see how greedy businesses (both small and large) have become. I genuinely hope they remember the importance of appreciating loyal customers.
They had one small table inside and two more outside when I was there. I ordered a salad and got one without dressing. The fries were crispy, not like typical fast food fries. The hero sandwich was ok and well priced. Service was quick and the store seemed busy. Gonna try a pizza slice there sometime.
I wanted my daughter to experience New York style pizza, and this was a great choice. They have the staples I remember (pepperoni, Margherita) and also more modern options (BBQ chicken, chicken and broccoli). They also have garlic knots, which we tried and were delicious, pre-packaged salads, fruit, and desserts, a variety of drinks, and what looked like Jamaican meat pies. According to the signs on the windows, the also have chicken tenders, fries, buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, and lasagna available. It's a small space, three two-seat tables, so most of the orders were takeout. The prices were very reasonable.
Great pizza spot! Came here on two different occasions to get two different types of meals. The first time was a chicken Parm sub which was really good. Freshly made with nice bread that had a good crunch. Breaded chicken done well and the sauce and cheese brought it all together. Solid. Second visit was for slices of pizza. The cheese was nice, particularly their blend of cheeses, which had a flavorful taste the sleeper. It was the sesame chicken slice. It almost tasted like a mash up between chicken off of a Chinese food, menu and pizza. The sauce had a little bit of spice as well, which I loved.
