This gym is always clean and welcoming! Staff is friendly and always helpful! Staff member Rock is very helpful, extremely knowledgable, and most importantly kind and encouraging!
This is the ONLY PF in the area that is worth going to. Very friendly staff, especially the new team member. I would have given it 5 stars except for 2 issues. The RockBot doesn't work, I suspect an employee might be bogarting the music over the customers. The Hydro lounge is way too bright, there's a flood light in your face like your being interrogated by the CIA. It's to be dark and relaxing.
I recently joined Planet Fitness mainly because it’s close to my home. I like to alternate between driving and riding my bike to the gym. The first time I rode my bike, I was shocked to discover there are no bike racks—which feels ironic for a fitness facility. Because of this, whenever I want to bike to the gym, I have to go to the Beach Blvd. location instead (thankfully, I have the Black Card). Planet Fitness, please consider adding a bike rack!
Planet fitness changed my life! They make it so easy with the pictures and how to work the machines right on the machine and I love the environment. You can work out and no one bothers you.
Happy when I saw this location open since it is the same distance as the one I currently go to, but was looking for one a little bigger and updated. New location so everything is very clean, but they did a great job with layout as well. Very spacious and even when packed I don't think it will feel crazy overcrowded. Will be switching this location to my main location after visiting for first time today. Equipment pros- 6 Smith machines Glute bridge machine (finally!) Smaller free weight section has decent weight assortment, not just the smaller 5- 20 lb Dumbells 4 larger cable towers and more options in functional training area Few minor cons - Bathroom has very limited counter space, sinks have almost zero space. I know I am not only person carrying at least water bottle maybe small pack nowhere to set down while washing hands. Or if people are coming before work etc one counter in locker area. Wish there was at least 4 glute abduction/adductor machines, those are always a popular machine and with both combined into one machine more chance they are being utilized
