I’m a visual artist, my spouse, a musician. We wanted our wedding to reflect our vibrant personalities and interests. I started out a lot of conversations with Betsy by saying, “Okay, this might sound a little nutty, but how about we do…” Betsy ran with every single suggestion. It was incredible. The end result? A modern art inspired wedding complete with an interactive art gallery at the reception! The logistics and planning: Betsy walked us through every single thing. She gave us options when we didn’t have a clue. Photographer, caterer, florist, band, you name it! She gave us things piecemeal, so it didn’t feel too overwhelming. She was also very accommodating in working with folks of a minority faith/culture, as both me and my spouse are Jewish and wanted a Jewish wedding. The big day: I didn’t have to worry about anything. I mean, of course I did worry a little bit, because I’m an anxious person. But I didn’t have to worry. Betsy set everything in motion and when a conflict came up with the transportation (my fault), she fixed it immediately. It was the most beautiful day. It was the best day of our lives. It was the start of something truly incredible. If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, here’s your sign. HIRE BETSY AT PLANNED TO PERFECTION OF THE BLUEGRASS!

This is a team of absolute EXPERTS when it comes to wedding planning. Julia was our day-of-coordinator and I can't express enough how absolutely ON POINT she was with every single request we threw at her throughout our entire planning process. Additionally, Julia and Betsy offered some great ideas that truly enhanced our special day. If you are looking for a team that will GET IT DONE, this is it. Everything was executed perfectly - literally not a single thing went wrong, which I do believe they call a wedding miracle. I call it Planned to Perfection :).
