Goliath(16 ft POD) was both delivered to my residence to be packed and picked up for its long haul to Georgia by Jerman ( driver). He provided pertinent information for the packing and for problems I may have on the other end that can be rectified by the driver in Georgia. He was very skillful, knowledgeable, and friendly when it came to handling the pod. I’m very happy that I had him on both occasions. Thank you, Jerman

Chose PODS for out-of-state 1400 mile move after getting moving company referrals and on-line research. Company's moving license can be verified through Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration so there were no "red flags" if a claim needed to filed later plus I had noted their containers and trucks on the road in previous travel across the western U.S. PODS provides a container(s) that YOU choose! YOU (not the driver) are responsible for inventory, packing, and asking friends, family or paying for help to pack said containers. Suggest you arrange this prior to container arriving. I am at the "packing" point with a 16 foot container as I wrote this review and the container is scheduled for pickup tomorrow. The moving reps are great at their job, so, "LISTEN" to them if you are NOT familiar with moving and packing homes or large apartments in general. For military and government moves, they can provide weight tickets. At NO POINT has there been ANY "extra fees" other than what was negotiated and PODS "follows up" with EVERYTHING in writing based on how well YOU communicate with them. It is YOUR responsibility to READ the contract and make sure that you are getting what you require based on your personal moving timeline. The drivers are the "face" of the company and the more information YOU can provide upfront, e.g. high-traffic area, narrow street entry, gated entries, angled driveways, will mitigate lost time, late delivery, or extra fees. My container delivery driver was Jerman C. and he was already familiar with my location (Local Drivers). I had worried that since my two-car driveway was inclined, there would be an issue. THERE WASN'T! Even though PODS can be a "contactless" procedure, Jerman was professional, affable, knowledgeable, experienced, and made operating the "Podzilla" seem like an ovature of a fine opera as he placed the container EXACTLY where I needed it to be. The result is since I am doing this alone, I had already boxed and pre-stored the majority of my two-bedroom apartment in my garage. I packed everything into the container within 9 hours of it arriving....I could have not done that without the expertise provided by PODS and Jerman C. Will update this review as the opera plays out...Update: 4/20-22/2025....Passed my container (Apple AirTags use ultra-wideband technology and take advantage of Apple's existing network of devices, which work as crowdsourced beacons to ping each other in order to determine item's location so drop one in the box)...PODS keeps you continuously updated as the arrival date arrives to final point and validates delivery address layout for seamless delivery through series of texts, emails, and videos....Kind of dummy proof! They also offer a three-hour delivery window within 24-28 hours out. Since I am moving to a house, I can't speak for delivery to another apartment complex or the issues that come with that....

PODS are a great way to move if you dont mind the cost. It is an expensive service. With the 25% off coupon the cost to move from Chicgo to CA was $4,500 for a Large Pod. This is only the cost of the POD and not any additional labor to help load it. The drivers were on time when delivering and picking up the Pod. The website was easy to use and they kept me informed the entire time. Something else that was really cool to find was a clothing rod inside the pod to hang your closet items on.
