I managed to break my screen somehow, and took my computer here for a second opinion after going someplace else first. Best decision ever, because these guys are professionals. The estimate was free, they told me exactly when it would be done, and when I went to pick up my computer, the final cost was exactly what they told me it would be, and the price was both reasonable and competitive. If something else breaks, I know it will be in good hands here.

The best place I could have called! I did something to my PC that really messed it up. I ended up with a fresh install of Windows but could still not get it to boot. I called and asked about having someone come out to my house and the guy I spoke with said it would simply cost to much. He had me explain my issue and his advice got me one step closer to fixing my pc. I called a few hours later, after dealing with an additional issue, to let him know I was bringing my pc in and he once again asked what was wrong and proceeded to let me know what I needed to do. I was able to get my PC up and running because of those two calls. It could not have been a better first impression and it is the only place I will take my pc in the future.

This company is very honest and knowledgeable. Wonderful customer service and they explained how data recovery works very well. So that I could understand. I was looking to recover some photos off a very old hard drive. I called around to other companies who quoted me $200-$5000. Took it to a local company nearby and they wanted $1000 upfront to recover these photos. I said nope!!! I contacted Portland support computer repair and spoke with the owner, and he informed me that a lot of these computer places are just middlemen and they end up sending out the work to clean rooms. So you end up paying a lot of money out-of-pocket for them to do nothing and to send the work to someone else out of state. I brought my old, broken hard drive to Portland support computer repair after picking it up from the other local business near by that wanted $1,000 to recover my data to see what Portland Support could do for me and they had it done in less than an hour and only charged me $135 to recover my old photos. AMAZING!!! I didn’t have a lot of old data to recover but hard drive was 18 years old and damaged. And they had the software to get the job done. I was very impressed and appreciated the owners honesty with how data recovery works. They have the tools, knowledge and integrity you’re looking for! I highly recommend them! I will definitely be coming back for any computer needs in the future! And referring friends!
