Can’t say enough good things about the training that Leia received. Riley was her trainer and did an amazing job. Truly has a talent. The facility itself was extremely clean and spacious. Leia completed a 3 week board and train and the results were amazing. This facility is 100% professional and caring about your pets welfare. The only challenge now is for us to continue the great work that Riley did.
Our rescue was dog aggressive and we needed help to make him a civilized pet. We did one on one training with Miss Emily and our doggo is better than we ever imagined possible. No more jumping, gnawing, bulldozing a person. He sits, waits, lays down, goes to his place, understands no, leave it, move, down. He has learned self control and chooses to follow direction. We were trained right along side our pup! We will be returning for more socializing, tricks, and fun time. Thank you Miss Emily!
We took our GSD/Belgian Malinois mix puppy there for training. When he turned out to be too reactive to participate in Puppy Kindergarten, the team at Precision Dog Training Academy worked with us to build a flexible training schedule. Emily spent months working with us and our boy Funston, so that we had to tools to train him and help him fully join us on adventures outside of the house. Her work was so thorough that we confidently brought him to support our daughter at outdoor sporting event with minimal reactivity issues and lots of social interactions with new people. Thank you.
Emily did an amazing job training our 6-month-old Goldendoodle! After having her as our instructor in the Puppy 101 class, we decided to enroll him in the 3-week Board and Train program while we were on vacation. We wanted to focus on jumping, chewing, mouthing, counter surfing, and his extra excitement around kids. I was so impressed with how far he came in just three weeks! He’s been home for about a week and a half now, and he’s doing wonderfully. Walking him has become such a pleasure — no pulling and he heels perfectly, with only minor (if any) corrections needed. Learning to use the training tools was a bit of an adjustment for me, so if there’s any jumping or excitement around kids, that’s on me — not the training! We’re continuing to work on doorbell and doorway manners, and we feel confident about how to move forward thanks to Emily’s guidance. I highly recommend Emily and Precision Dog Training — the results are absolutely worth the cost!
I enrolled my puppy in the Puppy 101 class and we are so glad we did! From the beginning everyone was very responsive and helpful. My puppy had to miss the first class and they were very helpful in emailing training information that we missed. Our trainer Emily was outstanding and very knowledgeable on all aspects. She really took the time during group sessions to also give our dog one on one training and suggestions to correct bad behavior. We enjoyed hearing her funny little stories about her dog Toast! Looking forward to Puppy 201!
