Really nice vibe here. Old school shop with a new school attitude (read: the artists here are nice). Had a lovely time getting tattooed here and would definitely go back
Paul is an amazing artist and a super friendly guy. I highly recommend this shop. The atmosphere is also very nice with a lot of art on the walls and good music playing.
10/10 recommend Premium Tattoo! Matt was super friendly and professional, totally nailed the ideas I brought to him. In general the vibe is good, the space is clean, and I left with high quality work.
Great spot. Studio was very clean. Matt took my concept and drew out exactly what I was wanted. He took his time (3 sessions) which I appreciated. Better and more transparent pricing than other spots, especially in SF. Well worth the trek to Oakland.
My husband and I wandered into Premium Tattoo a few years ago and had such a good experience, we kept them in mind for future tattoos. The shop is clean, has a little sitting area up front and there’s usually a lot of street parking. I recently asked Paul to design a line drawing tattoo for me & it’s exactly what I wanted. ‘Had a blast talking to him while he tattooed me too. I give this place all the stars and will definitely be back.
