I don't think I can say enough about Preston! He is easy to talk to, he explains the law in a way that inexperienced people can understand! He is great about returning phone calls, most of all he is kind and reasonable. He went above and beyond to help me understand what my options are without charging me a fortune. Preston genuinely did a wonderful job not only representing me, but of dealing with me and my case in a way that made an incredibly stressful situation much easier to navigate and cope with. Despite the fact that Preston was my court appointed attorney he never made me feel like my case was less important than a more high income client with a more "desirable," case. He was always quick to return my calls and texts. He answered questions and related information to me in a way that made legalese easy to comprehend (even when I had legal questions that didnt pertain to my case). I should also add that I wasn't the easiest client in a few ways. Despite my shortcomings in terms of being fast at gathering information and paperwork he made the best of what I gave him and ultimately I received a far better outcome than I had anticipated. He never blew smoke or sugarcoated how things were going but he definitely put in the work that led to a happy outcome. A few asides- I also appreciated the fact that he clearly maintained a good relationship with the prosecutor and other people working on my case, which made me feel much more comfortable. He's also a very personable guy. I never felt judged or lesser than when speaking to him. A good sense of humor-and a snazzy dresser too lol. While I hope I don't need to obtain counsel for anything else anytime soon should the need arise I will absolutely be contacting Preston again-highly recommended!!
