Project Seed Cafe is a Filipino-inspired cafe with really good drinks. The ube latte and pandan drink were both solid. The ube pandesal was okay, but still worth trying. Service was super quick and everyone was friendly. The cafe itself is beautifully decorated, and they also have some cute merch.
I live around the corner from this coffee shop. It's a great place to just sit and have a nice cup of coffee. I came here on a Friday and it was not crowded. I had the Pan de Sal with cream cheese and Halaya and the Salted egg yolk custard latte. The latte was delicious and doesn't contain any eggs...
LOVE IT HERE!!! I’ve been here thrice now (once at the manor house location, twice at the baxter road location) and it gets better every time. The drinks and food are more than exceptional and the service is amazing. Shout out to Amira and Ella for greeting me with warmth and a smile on their faces :) My favorite things to get are the seasonal drinks, hot chocolate, and the biscoff ensaymada. The interior is gorgeous and well decorated too!
I’ve been a customer of Project Seed Coffee since 2020, and I can honestly say they just keep getting better. The coffee is always exceptional; smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care; but what really sets this place apart are the people. Erene and Brantley are absolutely wonderful! They make everyone feel welcome and take the time to get to know their customers. You can tell they pour their hearts into what they do, and it shows in every drink and every interaction. I love this place!
I stumbled across Project Coffee while attending an event nearby, and I’m so glad I stopped in. This Filipino-owned coffee shop quickly became one of my favorite spots in Virginia Beach. What makes it stand out are the incredible and unique flavors you won’t find anywhere else: ube, pandan, salted egg yolk, and more. The ube velvet has become my personal favorite—it’s sweet with a subtle chocolate undertone, almost like drinking a liquid cookie. I’ve found myself coming back every other day just to try different combinations. I was a little apprehensive about ordering the salted egg yolk latte, but I don’t know why—I ended up loving it. The flavor is surprisingly light and creamy. One of the things I appreciate most is that they offer faux lattes. I’m not a coffee drinker, so having these options means I can enjoy all the flavors without caffeine. Their cold foam toppings are another highlight—cheese, vanilla, pandan, and brown sugar are all delicious—and they pair beautifully with oat milk. The space itself is cozy, welcoming, and inviting. The staff are warm and friendly, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. On my last visit, I ordered an ube velvet faux latte with pandan foam and a salted egg yolk faux latte with brown sugar cold foam—both incredible. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday, so I usually plan to visit on weekends. It’s absolutely worth working into my schedule. Project Coffee has quickly become a go-to spot for me, and I look forward to every visit. If you’re looking for something beyond your usual coffee order—or even if you don’t like coffee at all—this place is a gem.
