Puptown has been a haven for my Tala. She loves going and I feel great knowing that all the staff there care about her. We’ve done overnights and daycare with them, even some grooming services. Shasta and her staff are amazing and I am so glad to have found a place to bring Tala so she can socialize with other pups in a safe space.

Great Staff, but Serious Communication Concerns I brought my four-month-old puppy to Pup Town for the daycare program. Jasmine was incredibly helpful during check-in and clearly explained what to expect during his assessment and temperament test. I also appreciated that they accommodated my request for outdoor potty breaks and provided a detailed report card afterward. However, I’m removing two stars due to a serious lack of communication and consent. I was not informed that my puppy would be taken outside of the facility for “complementary training.” I had already notified both the staff and Shasta, the owner, that my puppy is working with a private trainer, and I did not give permission for anyone else to train him. Despite this, I received three videos of a trainer working with my puppy outside the warehouse—something I never approved. I called the facility twice that day to check on him, specifically asking about his behavior and how he was doing. At no point did anyone mention that he had been taken out for training. This was extremely concerning. When I called a few days later, Jasmine was empathetic and understanding, and I truly appreciate that. I believe the staff genuinely cares about the dogs, but it’s critical that trainers do not remove or work with dogs without the owner’s explicit consent. I was told I would hear back from Shasta or the trainer, but I still haven’t received a follow-up. I’d like to give Pup Town another chance in the future, but this incident makes me hesitant. I hope they improve communication and ensure owners are always informed—and asked—before their dogs are taken off-site or given additional training

Puptown took my fourteen week old puppy with only a few hours notice when I was experiencing an emergency. They were careful to make sure he only played with dogs that are fully vaccinated, since he hasn’t had his final dhpp shot. While I was personally going through a hard time, it was really comforting to see how much fun Shadow was having in the copious pictures and videos they post on their Facebook page. I didn’t worry about him at all. I’m really grateful I found such high quality, meticulous pet care at the last minute like that.

Lacey loves coming to Puptown! We have had nothing but great experiences with all of the staff and I feel very comfortable not only having her stay for daycare but also to board her when we go out of town. It is a great place for your dog to spend time with other dogs and a friendly and caring team! Love seeing the pictures which always prove she's having a great time! Thanks to all Puptown staff! Happy to recommend! - Lacey's mom

Many of our neighbors who have dogs, board their canine family members @ Puptown, have for many years, and give Shasta and the entire team, rave reviews. We recently had our giant rescue puppy, Koda, evaluated by Puptown (he passed) and have been having Koda spend some half days, full days, and a few days and nights being boarded at Puptown to get Koda acquainted with the staff, facility, and other pup guests. Koda has had a great time and comes back happy and tired from all of the canine play sessions @ Puptown. We have found Puptown to also be very clean and focused on hygiene, which is great. Thanks, Shasta and Team! You all do great work and provide excellent service.
