We had an amazing experience working with Lisa McElroy and Purple Tree Photography! It was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding, and we highly recommend them to any couple. Our engagement and wedding photos are stunning, and we will treasure them forever. I thought there was no way photos could fully capture our beautiful wedding day, but the teaser photos proved me wrong! Our guests complimented Lisa’s warmth, professionalism, and creativity on the day of the wedding and after! The Purple Tree Photography team was warm and responsive by email. We received a tentative schedule that accounted for our preferences (e.g., first look) right after the initial consultation with Jane and we knew we had made the right choice. We were paired with Lisa, and it was a perfect fit! My husband and I are shy in front of the camera and were hoping for coaching to make sure we looked our best. Lisa is encouraging, funny, and exceptionally skilled. She provided specific directions that allowed us to feel confident. She would remind us to stand up tall and fix fly-away locks of hair which resulted in perfect photos. The light was changing minute-to-minute on our wedding day, and she managed to capture the beauty of our venue and the day while constantly making adjustments! Lisa also had wonderful ideas and advice about locations and attire for our engagement photos. She also wanted to hear our ideas and see inspiration photos. All our photos were beautifully edited by the Purple Tree team, and a perfect mix of teaser photos were available soon after the wedding to share with family and friends. Brigid & Sean

Purple Tree was the very first thing we booked after securing our wedding date and venue. I was drawn to their overall style and knew right away this was the company we had to hire for our special day. We were so lucky to have been paired with Lisa. From the initial consultation to engagement photos to wedding day, she was so much fun to work with and helped us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Our teaser photos still have our jaws on the floor! We are excited to see the rest of our photos and for the opportunity to collaborate further on designing a wedding album.

Choosing Purple Tree Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first conversation, the team was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do. Our main photographer, Roei, was simply amazing — talented, patient, and so easy to be around. He brought such a calm and creative energy to the day, making us feel completely comfortable (and that’s saying a lot, because we are definitely not the most photogenic people 😄). Somehow, he captured every meaningful moment effortlessly — from the emotional to the spontaneous — all while letting us be ourselves. His eye for detail, light, and emotion is truly special. Kayla, his assistant, was just as wonderful — kind, attentive, and always one step ahead in making sure everything ran smoothly. Together, they created a relaxed and joyful atmosphere that allowed us to fully enjoy the day while they worked their magic behind the scenes. We’ve only received our teasers so far, but wow — they already blew us away. The photos are full of love, movement, and emotion. You can actually feel the day in them. We can’t wait to see the full gallery! Purple Tree Photography was the first vendor I booked when planning my wedding. I knew that their style was what i wanted my photos to look like, but what I didn't know was just how instrumental our photogrpaher, Maya would be during the planning process. Maya went above and beyond to make visions come to life. We were asked in the very beginning if we prefer to be directed/guided during photos, or a more candid/handsoff approach. My husabnd and I are the awkward-pose type and we definitely needed heavy-handed direction. Maya was superb, guided us through photos that felt natural, and made us feel like models. She also gave us a very realistic timeline for the day, lead our family & giant bridal party with ease, and made us feel so comfortable. My husband (who has never liked taking photos) aboslutely loved working with Maya, and we are so so grateful to have had her with us on wedding day. She is a total rockstar. We were also lucky to have added Lisa to our wedding just a few weeks shy of the big day - and boy are we glad we did! Having a second shooter was absolutely woorth it, and Lisa's shots were amazing. We ended up with such a better timeframe by having her as a second shooter, and she was so professional and easy to work with despite having been added during the most chatoic phase of wedding planning lol! Both Lisa and Maya are class acts. I would pick Purple Tree again 1000x over. We love being a PT couple!!!
