My jack russell terrier pup responded very well to the Reactive Recovery program. I found the classes to be well paced and comfortable for my dog: allowing me to walk her with greater confidence. Bonus points for cute grad caps.

We had a wonderful experience doing puppy classes with Velvet at the Nolan Hill location. Our pup as learned so much and he loved Velvet so much! We also attend the puppy socialization on the weekends and that has been amazing also. He loves to just play like crazy and tires himself right out!

Velvetanne is amazing! Her warmth and kindness in the classes makes you and your pup feel so welcome (even if they’re a crazy puppy)! She really sets you up for success in training your puppy and gives you great tools to get started in your training journey. I highly recommend her classes.

Let me start with Velvetanne is absolutely amazing. Within minutes of meeting her, I could just tell she's passionate about what she does and she truly cares about the dogs and families she works with. My family and I decided to adopt a 1 year old Pit Bull Terrier Mix from the shelter. Although she has a great temperament and is super sweet, we have 3 kids and wanted to address some concerns right away. She's very jumpy when excited, she gave us the impression that she hates her crate and she would nip sometimes, especially with the younger kid. I was very impressed with how much we were able to do with our initial session. We started off with a warm welcome between Velvetanne and Mocha (our dog) and from there it was just a great experience. We got to engage the kids in some games while still teaching the dog how to behave properly. She showed us within minutes how to correct the jumping behaviour and ways to teach Mocha how to be soft with her mouth which helped address the nipping concerns. She then showed us how to crate her within minutes while using positive reinforcement and making Mocha feel like the crate is just a wonderful place to be in, eventually even having her lay in the crate on her own without crying. We worked on basic commands such as sit, down, touch etc. If I didn't know any better, I'd think Velvet is a magician. We definitely recommend her services and we look forward to booking and starting the 6 weeks training program with Justine as it will only get better from here. Thank you again Velvetanne for the wonderful service and just being a great human being in general.
