Their communication was very quick and professional from the first inquiry, and the food was absolutely delicious. The price was also very reasonable, and we were all so impressed with their service. We highly recommend Rancho Sombrero to anyone looking for a great catering company!
The whole experience with Rancho Sombrero was fantastic from start to finish. Easy communication, well priced, helpful suggestions for menu planning. Most importantly the food was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Catering for vegetarian and gluten free on the spot and remembering which guests had special requirements. We had so many great comments about the food from our guests. Would 100% recommend and definitely would use again.
We recently hired Rancho Sombrero for our wedding party, and they were absolutely amazing! Their communication was quick and clear, and the food was fresh and delicious. At first, we were worried there might be too much food, but they adjusted everything perfectly so nothing went to waste. Just wanted to say a big thank you for catering our event last week! Your team made everything so easy – the set up and pack down were quick, and everyone was really friendly and professional. It helped create such a nice, relaxed vibe for the day. And of course, the food was delicious 🌮 – fresh, full of flavour, and exactly what we were hoping for. Our guests really enjoyed it! We hired Rancho Sombrero for our wedding reception party. Approx 100-130 people, including kids. Cost was a tad under $4000. For full transparency, below is the message I sent them the day after our event. “Just wanted to give you some feedback from last night. The food was nice but a lot of our guests said there wasn't enough. we had about 30 people less than expected because they didn't end up attending, so I would have thought there would be a lot of excess food but a lot of people were left hungry and they said some of the food was cold. In terms of the GST, you left us in a pretty difficult spot by basically saying on the day that you wouldn't come if we didn't pay up front. I thought that was unprofessional and it's something you legally aren't allowed to do as you provided us with a tax invoice (which we paid) which is required to show the final price payable including GST. I have similar thoughts about your issues with the venue, informing me over the phone after we'd booked and paid, that you wouldn't be able to do the service properly if you couldn't park your trailer where you wanted. Again, the food was nice, but for what we paid, I think we were left feeling underwhelmed and like things could have gone better on all fronts, from food quantity, communication, professionalism.
