From the moment you walk in the staff is so welcoming! You can tell they put so much love into the food. I always eat gluten-free and the pasta served here is awesome! We have been customers for years and will continue to return for many more!
We were in town for a night and decided on Razzo for dinner and were pleased with our choice. I had the meat lasagna, which was probably one of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had from a restaurant. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs and that was good as well. Will definitely return when in Norfolk. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because our party of 4 all agreed the bread was way too salty and the desserts were lacking.
Love the old fire house location. Brings me back to my days as a firefighter. The food. The eggplant I am told is exceptionally good. The pizza I got. 2 of 8 on My Pizza Porn Scale. Good where it's average, and average at best. Sour dough crust was a nice touch. The sauce is the best part. Just overall. Average. Not bad by any stretch. Little under cooked didn't help the flavor. Let's see if it passes the reheat challenge.
The first thing you see is this amazing old converted firehouse. Then...the food. Every single thing from the prosciutto wrapped asparagus, to the eggplant parmagiana was truly to die for. And the dessert, the molten cake with the homemade whipped cream almost made me cry. Put this place on your list. You're missing out if you don't. And if you're really lucky, you'll get seated with Christa. She's incredible.
This was a very enjoyable restaurant. The staff is super friendly, drinks from the bar were great and the food …. AMAZING!!! The fried mozzarella was soooo good!! The pizza was amazing and the white lasagna was to die for!! Oh and an additional plus? The free, warm bread to start off with was great!!
