I want to start this review by noting that my apartment wasn't spotless before the cleaning service arrived—I had some boxes and clutter, which I communicated when booking. However, this does not excuse the poor quality of cleaning I experienced. When the cleaner arrived, she seemed unprepared and uncertain about what to do. I created a checklist and helped her get started, encouraging her to reach out with any questions. Unfortunately, she never did. Upon returning home after being told the cleaning was completed, I was shocked to find that my apartment was still dirty. During my initial walk-through, I noticed several issues. For instance, the shelves in my living room were untouched, leaving papers and clutter behind. I didn't expect perfection, but I did expect at least a basic tidying up. My desk was ignored, with food and trash still scattered around. Instead of using the container I provided for pill bottles, they were carelessly tossed into a drawer. The cleaner did not wipe down my desk, leaving visible dust and dirt. There was a noticeable mess on the floor next to my bookshelf, and the area around my dog’s kennel, which I specifically mentioned, was left untouched as well. In my bedroom, I found dirty clothes, dog toys, chargers, and pens thrown onto my bed. Things worsened when I found my brand-new towels, still with tags, tossed onto the pile of dirty laundry on my bed. This was frustrating and unacceptable. When I confronted the cleaner, she claimed I had asked her to put everything on the bed. That’s absolutely not what I said. I had to clarify what items weren’t trash, including fly swatters and my dog’s toys. I feared she would still throw it away so I placed a few items on my bed. In the bathroom, I was shocked to see a vent hanging open, which poses a potential hazard. I asked her to clean off my bed, but I had to intervene multiple times as she ignored empty hampers and containers I provided for sorting. She carelessly tossed items into a hamper without checking. Even while I was folding towels, she neglected to assist and threw my clothes on the floor. When we got to my sheets, she seemed confused about what to do next, and I had to take over. Frustrated, I ended the walkthrough, I just wanted her out of my apartment. Here’s a summary of major issues: - Floors weren’t swept or mopped properly. - Dirty spots remained on floors and baseboards. - Empty boxes I mentioned were ignored. - My living room desk was left dirty, with food and trash. - Items were left in random spots throughout the living room. - Everything in my room was tossed onto the bed. - The bed wasn’t made. - New towels were mixed with dirty laundry. - Shelves were cluttered and dirty. - Items were improperly stored in drawers. - A dusty air filter was neglected. - Trash was left under a small kitchen shelf. - Furniture was not cleaned and had dirt and stains. - A plastic TV tray was left dirty and covered in pet hair. - A metal bathroom vent was left hanging open. As I write this, I continue to find neglected areas. This was, without a doubt, the worst cleaning I’ve ever received. I expected to return to a fresh, clean apartment but instead find myself having to clean up after someone who is supposed to be a professional. I will be posting photos to document the state of my apartment after the cleaning. I do not recommend this company. I have emailed them, hoping for a resolution; otherwise I will dispute the charges with my bank.
