RPS Barge Company has been working with Roberts CPS Group since 2023 and it has been nothing but a pleasure to work with Kevin and his team. Great company to work with.
I was extremely impressed by this company and Kevin initially. But my team's experience over the last two months has changed my opinion. We are currently paying about $7000/month for services to Roberts CPA group. Despite that we are not able to get them to answer the phone, return emails, texts, etc. They handle our payroll through ADP, accounting software (Xero), and of course do our taxes. I have been calling the Louisville and Lexington branches all day (10/2/2025). No answer. My team members, Laura (accounting) and Heather (our GM) have been trying to reach Kevin for weeks. I stepped in a couple days ago out of frustration, and I have encountered exactly the same thing. We are nearing our deadline for 2024. From what I have been told we finished our part of what was needed 2 months ago. We would be happy to simply recieve a response of any kind but there is nothing. My business partner also tried to call, left a voicemail and has heard nothing back. This is not a vacation or a one-off, emergency disruption of service, this is a disturbing pattern that spans months at this point. I would warn anyone thinking about using this company's services, there is actually no support at all and they have proven to be extremely unreliable. We have only been working with them since November of 2024.
