The best customer service on the planet. We purchased a couch from them in June (the Weber with chaise) and the chaise just wasn't long enough so we exchanged for the Metro with chaise. It was comfy and deep; however the gap between the chaise and middle seat was huge (abnormally so), after a long period of trying different suggestions, moving cushions, dropping and reshaping nothing was working to lessen the gap. I noticed the Weber had a new option of the longer chaise so I reached out about another exchange and they were super accommodating. I sent a few pictures of the issue and they quickly agreed to another exchange. The delivery service people are always fantastic. Every single person I have ever interacted with at the company has been wonderful. The Weber is a dream. A fluffy cloud that feels like it will last forever.
The cushions on the couch I purchased were not soft and comfortable like the couch on display. The cushions are very hard. I thought I was getting the product I experienced on display. I asked to purchase the floor model but was told I couldn’t. The whole purpose of not buying online is to know what you are getting. Customer Service told me to give it a year and it will be comfortable. I asked if the cushion fill could be changed, but it cannot. Very disappointed.
I am very disappointed in my $3K Sofa. As you can see with the picture the seat cusions are not aligned with the edge. This happened just months after i bought it last year. The Sofa is not used very much, given only two of us here. I did call the number the Owner sent me and i was given a link to a Video showing me how to strsughten out the ribbing. I tried it with little success. Now, whenever i have guests here and want the Sofa to look better i have to unzip the cover, lower it and try to straighten it out. Obviously, the ribbing is very poor and cannot hold the foam cushion in place. Beware before buying.
Jeffrey Swindlehurst is the best Design Associate. I didn’t know much about furniture and was unsure how to start the buying process, but meeting him made everything so much easier. With his professional advice and design guidance, I was able to choose furniture that perfectly fits our new home in NC Although some items are still on the way, Jeffrey has continued to provide advice on both furniture delivery and design even after we left Boston, which I truly appreciate. His dedication and effort gave me great trust in Room & Board as a furniture company, and I look forward to shopping here again in the future.
After months of online shopping fails, I finally found real quality here. The owner spent an hour helping me choose a solid oak dining table that fits my narrow space perfectly. Their craftsmen adjusted the legs to match my existing chairs at no extra cost. Delivery guys maneuvered it up my tricky stairwell without a scratch. It still looks new despite daily family meals and my toddler's art projects. They keep samples of every wood stain so you can test how it wears over time. I'd definitely recommend Room & Board for quality furniture. 10/10!!
