Have had two recent experiences with Roto-Rooter. Both techs were experienced, knowledgable and the appointments were available sooner than expected. Their work has proven to be both durable and efficient!!
Roto-Rooter came within 2 hours of when I called. Having a backed up kitchen sink 2 days before Christmas is not fun. The technician was great! He gave me an estimate and when I gagged, he gave me a discount that was better than their on-line coupon. He also made sure to tell me the work came with a 6 month guarantee. My regular plumber's is only 2 months. He quickly started to work and removed the clog from the main pipe. He also told me the configuration of the current pipes was not ideal, which I knew. But unlike my regular plumber who quoted me an estimate to fix the configuration, this technician told me how to fix it myself. Great guy! He saved me money and my Christmas baking! I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter!
The technicians at Roto-Rooter made an overwhelming plumbing emergency manageable. They were very efficient, clean and careful with their work. They went out of their way to help us make the best financial decisions and were transparent with costs. They made sure we were well informed about the process and what to expect. I highly recommend Roto-rooters for any routine or immediate plumbing needs.
Sean 4581 came to my home to clear a blocked sewer line. It was the second blockage I’d had in five months causing flooding in my basement and thousands id dollars worth of damage. Sean came to my house having already read the notes from the previous service calls. I found that noteworthy because he came with knowledge of the history and also with a clear sense that we had not yet identified the root cause of the problem. I was impressed by that. He cleared the line and then used a camera to investigate further. Ultimately, he diagnosed the problem and spent a good amount of time explaining the problem, the cause, and a proposed solution. He also clearly explained why the estimated cost to fix it was as high as it was. He understood I needed to get other estimates and was respectful in his communications with me as he waited for me to let him know whether I had chosen Roto Rooter to perform the work. Although I chose not to use Roto Rooter for the repair, I trust this technician’s skill and his ability to properly diagnose and solve problems. Had Roto Rooter’s pricing been more competitive, I would have used them because I had so much confidence in the way Sean triaged, explained the problem, and managed the issue. I appreciated that the company waived the fee for clearing the pipes when Sean visited since the problem reoccurred in such a short period of time. Sean 4581 is a consummate professional and an excellent representative of Roto Rooter. He is someone I would not hesitate to hire or to have in my home addressing complex plumbing issues.
Alvaro was an amazing calming presence in a time of panic today. He guided me through what needed to be done when my hot water handle flew off the sink. Thankfully I was able to find the whole house water shut-off valve to avoid totally calamity in my rental that it would have been before he arrived. He was patient and calm in the face of my frazzled condition. Highly recommend Alvaro!
