Great spot, tasted just like pizza from Naples! I got the margarita con bufalo which was a bit lacking in flavor personally, so I’ll try something different next time. But the staff is friendly and it’s a nice lively atmosphere in there, plus a nice surrounding area to walk after.
Great cosy atmosphere and service I ordered the Cinghiale pizza and an apple santal (photos included) the cinghiale features tomatoes, mozzarella, wild boar salami, nduja, green chilli and peppers, the price was £13.20, spicy but not too spicy. However on this occasion I think the presentation could of been a touch better with more nduja paste and cheese. That being said the pizza portions are huge for this value so it's great if your really hungry and it tastes great They offer a choice of starters/sharers, desserts, soft drinks, dips and cocktails too. I recommend Rudy's great job team.
Having visited Liverpool hundreds of times over the past 20yrs, whenever I'd seen this pizzeria, I'd never visited. That is until last week when we went for a work meal, and OH MY!!!! Pizza is my favourite food and other than a place we have in my hometown, this is by far and away the best pizza I have ever eaten (and that includes Rome). The base is perfect soft with a crispy light crust, the sauce is tangy but not overpowering and the toppings are creative and work perfectly. I ordered a Romagnola and added extra fennel sausage, and it was amazing. I would also recommend the Salsiccia. Best pizza spot around.
Absolutely loved our visit to Rudy’s at Albert Dock! The pizza was amazing — light, fluffy, and full of flavour, just like proper Neapolitan pizza should be. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were really friendly and attentive, and everything came out super quick even though it was busy. Perfect spot for a casual meal by the water. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the docks!
I LOVE RUDYS so much. this is my favourite restaurant in liverpool. i visited a few months ago with my sister for the first time, and fell in love. the food the service the atmosphere were all 12/10. the pepperoni pizza is the best pizza i have ever had in my life. i visited again last week for my 18th birthday meal, and our waitress and a waiter brought over a brownie with a candle in for me and sang happy birthday. this made my whole week i will never forget it. thankyou so much rudy’s for making me feel special on my birthday. i couldn’t have asked for a better experience. i will recommend this place to anyone and everyone who mentions liverpool and i can’t wait to come eat here again💝
