The shop is very nice and the staff is friendly, but we were very disappointed with our experience. I clearly explained that my son is growing his hair out on top and that we only wanted a skin fade on the sides with a very light trim to even out the top. Despite this, the barber cut the top extremely short and even more uneven than it was before. My son has been growing his hair out for four months and is extremely upset—he’s only 7, and is having a hard time understanding he has to restart his hair growth timeframe. I regret not saying something at the time, but the result should have matched what was discussed. In addition, my other son was nicked during his haircut, which added to the overall disappointment. The pricing was also inconsistent—one child’s cut was $26 and the other $28, despite a posted sign stating that kids’ cuts are $25. While the shop has a great atmosphere & staff was kind, the overall experience did not meet expectations, and we would not return.

Sorted Barbershop on Curry Ford deserves every bit of recognition. Sky was my son’s barber for a long time — he was absolutely obsessed with her technique, her precision, and the pride she takes in her work. She’s always been a perfectionist in the best way. After we lost him, Sky became someone I will always cherish. In one of our most difficult moments, she took the time and care to provide a final service for him before we laid him to rest, something my family and I will never forget. This Curry Ford location is fairly new, and when I found out Sky was now just around the corner from us, I booked with her right away. She’s a breath of fresh air; professional, kind, and incredibly talented. The shop itself is immaculate, and the other barbers are just as welcoming and friendly. I’ve always gone for quick cuts at those cookie-cutter places, but this experience was different. Sky delivers a whole vibe — detailed, relaxing, and top-tier service. I even got the hot towel treatment (ears included!) for the first time, and it was amazing. She’s officially my go-to barber moving forward. Yes, this shop used to have a different reputation under previous ownership, but that’s long gone. Sky and her crew have completely transformed it into a clean, stylish, and professional space that raises the standard for barbering in the area. She’s also fantastic with kids. I recently brought my 3-year-old grandson in for a cut, and even though he usually sits pretty well, Sky was so patient and attentive. She listened to what his mom wanted and delivered exactly the look we were hoping for. Sky, her team, and Sorted Barbershop are on the rise — and for good reason. If you value skill, self-care, and great energy, this is where you need to go. She’s earned every bit of her success, and I highly recommend her and anyone on her team.

I found this barbershop by quickly Googling places nearby since my husband and I have been coming to this side of town every other Saturday for some commitments. I figured it was the perfect time to get him a haircut and beard trim. I called ahead and they told me to just come on in. When we arrived, we were greeted right away. There were five barbers working, steady traffic coming through, and it seemed like most people had appointments but even the walk-ins were seated quickly. One thing that really stood out to me while sitting here is how hard everyone was working. Each barber took their time with their clients, giving attention to detail that you don’t always see at places like this. My husband walked out looking fantastic, and I’m so glad I nudged him to come in. This place definitely earned our trust, and we’ll be back. Everyone, bring your husbands here, they deserve the treatment, and so do the amazing people working here!
