I was very hesitant to try any martial arts because I had no prior experience, but I’m so glad I was introduced to Sensei Anthony Sells. His many years of experience, patience, and knowledge have helped me grow and become more confident in my learning journey. Sage Arts Studio also has an amazing group of people who make the environment fun, welcoming, and comfortable especially for someone just starting out. I’m truly grateful to be part of this community.
The instructor is highly skilled and knowledgeable in martial arts but demonstrates a significant lack of professionalism. During the 2024 election period, he frequently made inappropriate and offensive remarks about the president-elect during training sessions. For example, he stated that “the best thing Trump could do in office would be to die” and expressed hope that “Iran would get him,” all in front of students. When approached about these comments, the instructor responded unprofessionally, creating a scene in front of the class and offering only a dismissive apology, stating he was “sorry for offending you,” rather than taking accountability for his behavior. Additionally, he charged me $260 for two months of classes I did not attend due to his unprofessional and immature conduct. I strongly advise against signing up at this gym if you are looking for an instructor who embodies humility, professionalism, and maturity.
Anthony Sell is one of the most talented and caring Martial Arts instructors in the world. I run a worldwide organization and I know Anthony is respected and his advice is sought after internationally. Whatever your reason for seeking an instructor in the Martial Arts, this is the place. From Weaponry to grappling to kickboxing. For fitness or true self defense - this is the place. You literally could not do better. Rick Faye
Sage Arts Studio Martial Arts is a great place for anyone to train. Whether a beginner or a seasoned martial artist, you will have a positive experience. Guru Anthony Sell has a wealth of knowledge in a number of artistic expressions. His attention to detail allows his students to continually grow as martial artists and more importantly as people. We can not recommend Sage Arts Studio enough. Do yourself a favor and give them a try! You will thank yourself later
Sage Martial Arts has an amazing, unique, and well rounded Martial Arts program. They off top quality instruction in multiple styles and disciplines. At Sage Martial Arts, you can find your own path in your training, which is hard to find elsewhere. Anthony Sell is an incredible instructor who works will with not only beginners, but experienced Martial Artists.
