We had a great 2 hour trip this past Saturday. What a wonderful NY experience. The sailboat is so grand and beautiful. The crew was incredibly accommodating. They let us hoist a sail and steer the boat. Lots of fun. The one thing I'd like more of is hearing about some of the signature buildings and sites.

Great afternoon sailing with Captain Dan. He made sure we had photos near the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. At first there wasn't enough wind to sail instead of motoring, but Captain Dan kept watching for the wind to pick up since he knew we hoped to sail. He was willing to give it a chance & we had a lovely last hour sailing. I definitely recommend Sail NYC.

Perfect Night and amazing service on the Manhattan II. Strongly recommend the Sunset cruise experience for locals & tourists alike. It is a beautiful way to experience Manhattan. Special mention to Shannon for being very accommodating, organizing a seat upgrade and providing us with excellent service.

Had an AMAZING night sailing with Captain Paul and his Wife Melissa. They were punctual, friendly and so hospitable. The Odette was immaculate, Melissa made sure we had a great time. The Music was great, they made sure we were entertained and took us to all the sights we wanted to see. They positioned the boat so that we had spectacular views and great photo opportunities. They took us to the Statue of Liberty, up the East River, under the Brooklyn Bridge and made sure to point out view points for us to see. Overall we had 5 star service hands down. Grateful to Captain Paul and Melissa for ensuring our evening was special. Can't thank them enough for all the great memories.

The plan was to charter a yacht for a cruise around NYC where I was going to pop the question and then get dropped off in Brooklyn, where all of our family and friends would be waiting for us. It was July 11, 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic and I could not find anyone who would accommodate any arrangements for my engagement idea. I reached out to Captain Dan and he came to the rescue. Captain saved the day and it was the perfect proposal! Not only did he accommodate all of my requests, he also arranged for everything to be taken care of so I didn’t have to worry about anything (I was already nervous about the proposal, keeping it a secret and making sure everything was perfect). We got on the gorgeous and clean yacht and sailed off into the sunset. We stopped for some photos around the Statue of Liberty with the NYC skyline in the background and that’s when I popped the question. After she said yes, we popped some bubbly and off we went. We arrived at our destination and were greeted by family and friends. Captain Dan made it happen and everything was perfect. I highly recommend SailNYC and Captain Dan for anyone looking to rent a boat in NYC for any occasion! I can’t wait to see the video of the proposal so we can show it to all of our guests at the wedding.
