Got some some breakfast the other day with my friend. The food was so good! The griddle cakes are the best thing ever. Service was very good as well. Are server was Feydeen and she was super sweet and we really enjoyed chatting with her. Overall this place is a great breakfast spot highly recommend.
It's a cute place for breakfast/brunch. Not as crowded for weekend brunch as other location. Solid option for classic breakfast. Service was quick, accurate, and we had a lovely chat with our server. Parking is a bit limited since it is street parking. Crap shoot on that. The sourdough toast was a bit over toasted and oily. Will ask for a dry light toast next time to avoid the burnt bits. The coffee was good, and the eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. Would return another time to try other menu items.
I went for the oat pancakes and wasn't disappointed. They top the pancakes with a nice molasses butter which is why they don't have syrup. The All-Star plate was huge. The biscuit was fluffy and buttery. Their bacon is not your typical bacon so don't expect anything salty. The sausage, egg, and cheese was extremely savory so it was nice that they served a side of pickles to cut the taste. It was really good. The service could have been better. We got our menus and water and waited. The server came around to the tables adjacent and behind us on both sides. He didn't take our order. We waited more and still nothing. We put our menus aside to hint to the server that we were ready...nothing. He again, checked in on the three tables around us.
You know coming here everything will be fresh and good. It’s gotta be. The sausage, egg and cheese sandwich was more filling than I expected and our waiter was on point and did not rush us which was refreshing. Their selection of beers were very well put together too.
Salts cure was a mixed experience, came for brunch on a Saturday and had a great time however there were some sub par aspects. The food was for the most part delicious, the pancakes are actually out of this world and worth it on their own. The breakfast combo was solid but the meat was a little overcooked and a lot of the flavors just blended together. Service could be improved, took us a while to order and get our food but the wait staff were friendly and accommodating. Worth a stop for the pancakes alone but not incredible.
