Amazing work! Another company quoted us over $10,000 more for my mom’s bathroom remodel, so we decided to call San Antonio Remodeling. Not only did we save a lot of money, but we were able to remodel the main bathroom and the guest shower for much less. Highly recommend!
Consumer Warning – Misleading Claims About Experience and Staffing-This company advertises that it has 25+ years of experience and uses certified professionals. Based on that representation, I trusted them with work in my home. However, when it came time to do the job, they sent what appeared to be a very inexperienced young worker to perform the work instead of the seasoned, certified professionals they claim to provide. Based on my experience, I would not hire this company again and would urge others to be very cautious and ask detailed questions before paying a down payment. Didn't complete the job due to inexperience and still have not REFUNDED MONEY! Calling this a “small handyman-level” job is misleading. This work involved plumbing and electrical connections and water-related installations, not low-level tasks. If done wrong, they can cause serious damage or safety issues. You quoted $1,335 and asked for half up front, yet sent a very inexperienced handyman who spent much of the time Googling how to install a faucet because there were no instructions in the box. That is not what your advertising of “25+ years of experience” and “certified people” led me to expect. You also stated the deposit would be refunded in 5–7 business days, but it hasn't happened. It has now been longer than that (21 business days to be exact). This just adds to concerns about how this company does business. There is a clear gap between what your company promises in its marketing and what you actually send into customers’ homes. Others need to be aware and to ask exactly who will be doing the work and what their real qualifications are.
Be very wary. Half way through the project I thought SA Remodeling & Handyman Services was a scam. The salesman, Matthew over promises and under delivers. There was zero internal communication so the project manager was clueless. What was suppose to take 6 weeks took 3 months with several returns to complete the punch list. The craftsmanship, sense of urgency and response from owner was nonexistent. How they received 5 star reviews is baffling. BE VERY WARY
i appreciate these guys for the hard work done. Jennifer was helpful with customer service and understanding what i was talking about. She went above and beyond to direct me to get this job done. i finally can sit and enjoy my spa chair all the plumbing went well and installed in a timely manner again thank you.
It’s hard to even give this company 1 star. 2 other girlfriends hired SA remodeling at the same time I did. We were all over promised and received very little in delivery and even less in quality and performance. If Matthew comes to ur home don’t even let him….lots of promises, no delivery. Fortunately for me, I only needed a washer/dryer connection installed, a job that should have taken 2-3 days max. It took over 3 weeks to get the installation completed and they still had to come back to complete the outside wall. Installer if machine didn’t even know to remove a vital piece from the machine that is only used for transporting the machine , so on the first load it was banging and jumping across the room. Unfortunately for my 2 friends it took 3 months to do a 3-6 week project on both of their homes. Poor quality drywall patching, wrong kitchen fixtures installed, poor quality paint jobs, poor quality tile jobs…the list goes on. Finally, they just wanted SA Remodeling out of their homes. If you are considering using this company I want to encourage you to reconsider your decision
