I’m so sad to write this but my chrome gel nails started to peel and crack after only 3 days. Lily was very nice but the product was not going on correctly and then she took too long to apply the top coat after the chrome powder and they were bumpy and uneven after spending one hour there. I was hoping it would at least last the usual 2 weeks but this photo was taken exactly 5 days after the manicure which is just horrible, and it started cracking day 3. I get chrome all of the time but was visiting the San Diego area and decided to treat myself. $70 wasted. I do not recommend this place. They should have offered a solution given that the chrome did not come out right from the beginning.
Lily did such an amazing job on my nails! She spent time finding the perfect shade for my nails based off my inspo picture and was so patient and sweet. This whole salon is amazing i always recommend them for acrylics or gel-x nails. They also have snacks after ur appointment which is so fun!
I’ve been coming here since i moved to the area. I’ve tried few nails tech with hard gel builder from here bht it never lasted me 2 weeks without chipping or lifting before my fill.( they did use gold gel X base to speed up and charged me for buider gel price). I was fed up and decided to have it removed . And Lily is the best. She’s very fun to talk and perfectionist in her work . She told me that hard gel does help to grow my nails and last over 3-4 weeks when it’sdone right Here’s my 4 weeks 2 days and my nails never look this good. I can’t wait to see Lily next week when i get back in town. Try her out . You won’t disappoint xoxo
This salon is so inviting when you walk in. Jolie is so sweet. Now let’s get to Danny… He was amazing. My pedicure was outstanding. He had to work really hard and it was top notch.
Update: I recently visited a salon that specializes in builder gel to fix these, and the experience helped me understand the difference in technique and product. It also took them twice as long to remove what I had on because there were several layers of mixed product, and even the tech wasn’t sure exactly what was used on me. Now that I’ve had builder gel applied correctly, I can see why mine had been lifting. For the same price, the new place did extremely detailed prep including cuticle removal and used true builder gel. It’s a totally different feel and application than what I’ve been getting done here. Just sharing in case it’s helpful for anyone specifically looking for that service. I really hesitated to write this because I’ve had some great experiences here - especially with pedicures. The staff is always kind, and they’ve been accommodating when I’ve needed small fixes. That said, I wanted to share my experience in case anyone is considering builder gel specifically. Over the last year, I’ve had consistent issues with my builder manicures - lifting well before two weeks, uneven edges, and messy French tips (even with the $10-15 add-on). Despite giving it 4–5 tries additional tries and communicating my issues, I’m really sad and disappointed that the quality hasn’t improved. Twice I booked appointments with the more detail-focused tech they recommended, but still ended up with someone else when I arrived. At $75–85 before tip, it’s hard to justify continuing when the results don’t last and my natural nails end up exposed and damaged from lifting.
