I agree more rules than trumps fascist police force. Place has really been mismanaged for years. I have a laminated copy of my driver's license which I have used for years and told was accused I could have falsified the Info on it and should just have a copy /Pic on my phone. Like I can't falsified that and all to get the santa monica resident rate of a dollar lower. SERIOUSLY. WHO IS IN CHARGE HERE. Being a samo resident and paying taxes to support SMC. What a joke Will vote no NEXT TIME PROPS AT ELECTION YEAR FOR SMC FUNDING if this is what I'm paying for. THEY DONT DESERVE IT. SAD

My daughter took swimming lessons here a few years ago, and we have always liked this swim center. Spacious, clean, and hardly ever feels crowded. The only thing I wish was different, is the depth of the pool. It is quite shallow, so you won't be able to do any exercises in the water.

More rules than the Bible has versus. Not even kidding. If you are with a child or family, you will be crammed in 1/4 of 1 pool. The rest is for lap swimming. Makes no sense for all these kids and families to be in 2 feet of water lol. The plus side is the pool is warm, there are sun decks for laying out and the place looks clean. I just don’t understand how this is a community pool if one entire pool is for adults and the other 3/4 of the remaining pool is also for adults/lap swimmers. You will be chastised on all the rules and you will not stay long due to it. I miss the pool I grew up going to!

New member from Sarasota, FL who’s in LA 3-4 times a year. Great facility and lots of swimmers using it. The swimmers share lanes well and are very nice. Glad I joined.

The water is always warm and the pool is clean. Nice facilities. Glad to have a community pool available in the neighborhood and close to home. However, I wish they allowed kids to play with pool toys or at least use kick boards.
